Confused
Harry’s POV
June 10th was almost here. I was sorta bored out of my mind just being at home. I mean, gosh, its great to spend so much time with my family and my friends, but I wanna get back on the road.
America’s waiting for me. I love America, we all do. But mostly, I just need something to do. My house is boring. I could go to my place in New York, but still, I would be alone. And bored.
I get snapped out of my thoughts by Niall’s finger poking my dimple. He does that too much, its beginning to get creepy. I look over at him and he laughs.
‘’What?’’ I ask, confused at him. I look around the table. Louis’ smirking. Liam’s lightly laughing and our manager, Paul, sighs. ‘’Did I miss something?’’
‘’Yeah.. the whole damn meeting, Harry.’’ Paul says, annoyed at me.
‘’Sorry, geez.. I didn’t.. mean to zone out again.’’ I say as Niall continues to laugh to himself. I look down at my phone to see the time. Fuck, I’ve been in here for three hours?! I could have swore only five minutes passed by..
‘’Anyways, boys.’’ Pauls begins, rolling his eyes at me again, ‘’Jessica will be here by tomorrow, I think. I talk-‘’ I cut him off, confused. ‘’Who’s Jessica?’’ I ask, raising my eyebrows up at him.
‘’See, if you would have listened.. you would know.’’ He says before standing up and grabbing his clipboard, soon exiting the room. I look around at the boys, still confused out of my mind. ‘’Who’s.. Jessica?’’ I mumble to them, hoping one of them would answer.
‘’She’s gonna come work with Lou, since my sister’s going home.’’ Louis tells me, thankfully. I nod, still a little confused. There’s no telling what I missed.
Paul could have planned to kill off everyone in the world, and I’d just be sitting here.. staring and thinking about how bored I am. But c’mon, what’s the likes of that ever happening? Well hell, I wouldn’t know anyways, so why does it matter.
Me and Niall sit on the couch at Paul’s, me still being confused about the entire meeting. So, thanks to my curiosity of what I missed, I decide to ask Niall about it, hoping he paid attention.
“Hey, Niall..’’ I mumble. He looks over at me and raises his eyebrows, ‘’Yeah?’’ he asks.
‘’What.. exactly.. did Paul talk about earlier?’’ I ask, getting a light laugh from him. ‘’Just told us aboutthe next few months.. and said that we’re getting a new Stylist, Jessica’s her name. ‘Member, you asked about her?’’ He smiles gently at the thought of my confusion from about an hour ago.
‘’Oh, well.. where’s she from?’’ I ask, still confused and lost. ‘’Um.. I think he said Duck Hill.. something.. Bruh, I don’t know!’’ He laughs out as he covers his face with his hands, laughing to himself.
‘’What the fuck is up with you two?’’ Louis laughs as he plops down on the couch beside Niall. “Harry probably asked Niall to give him head, and now Niall’s ashamed ‘cus he’s done it already today.’’ Liam laughs, sparking up a laugh fest, even I laugh some about that.
‘’No..’’ Niall says after catching his breath. ‘’Harry was asking about that girl.’’ Liam nods, ‘’of course he was.. he was too busy dreaming of you Niall..’’ He smirks lightly.
‘’Okay.. okay.. I don’t know what I walked in on, but its rather disturbing.’’ I hear Paul’s voice and I look over at the kitchen door to see him standing there, shocked and confused. I know about the confusion, I know how he feels!
‘’Don’t worry, you didn’t miss anything.’’ Louis smirks lightly with a laugh as Paul sits down on the arm of the couch. ‘’So, Paul, where’s that girl from, I forgot.’’ Niall asks him. ‘’Duck Hill, Mississippi.. United States.’’ He says lightly.
‘’That’s a weird name for a town.’’ I mumble. ‘’Maybe some people think Holmes Chapel is weird, damn it Harry.’’ Liam laughs, not being able to be serious after what just happened moments ago between us.
I laugh lightly before standing up, making my way outside to get something from my car, and to get away from the awkwardness. I wonder what this Jessica girl will be like. Probably another bitch… great.
