I walk over to Rease's house, I knock on the door and I hear the lock turn, it's Rease's mom. "Hey Shawn, nice to see you this morning." "You as well Ms.Hall.''
I walk into the house and run up to Rease's room. I turn left then walk to the end of the hall just like everyday. I knock. She answers, "Shawn, good morning, how is the bestest friend of my entire life been?" "I just saw you yesterday, and we face-timed last night." " Well that was yesterday, and this is today so...how are ya?" "I'm well, but if we don't hurry we are going to be late for school. So get to moving missy!"
We run down stairs I grab the keys out of my pocket and she grabs her bag off the kitchen counter. "BYE MOM!!" Rease screams as we exit the house.
~Rease~
I walk over to Shawn's car and get in to the passenger seat, he starts the car and we are off to school. I put on some jams and we rock out on our way. We pull up to the school right as a song was ending. We get to school right when the bell started ringing so we both have to race to class.
We walk in and are just barely late but I hear snickers from the back of the classroom. They know we are only friends but yet they still assume things.
This is when my thoughts and the laughter get interrupted by Mr. Dunphy.
"Why are you late Mr. Mendes, and Miss, Hall?"
