When Fire Meets Ice

Graduation Day

Bellas POV~
Here I am, sitting in my high school auditorium. I can't believe i'm here, waiting to graduate. I hear our principle call my best friends name "Layla Baldono" I stand up and start whistling causing her to blush. She's adorable. I hear my other best friend Haley yell in the background "work it girl" everyone laughed and she turned even pinker. I hear other names called, then the principle says "Bella Farrell" I stand up and start walking to the stage. I hear Haley scream "Sausage!" in the background causing everyone to laugh and for me to turn reder than a tomato. When I got to the stage my principle handed me my diploma and said "good job" so then I went and stood next to Layla and she whispered "Now you know how I felt." I laughed a little. We were standing up there for a while, then the principle finally called "Haley Well" and we both shouted "Go get em girl!!!" everyone busted out laughing, she grabbed her diploma and then walked to us and we said "paybacks a bitch" and she said "yeah, it will be for you won't it" she smirked and we instantly got scared. Then she said "Remember were going on a road trip soon and there won't be anyone to witness how you 2 died." We laughed. Then the principle said " This is the class of 2015" and everyone clapped and took pictures. We got off the stage and then it was time for speeches.... oh boy...
Haleys POV~
I can't believe it.... I just graduated. Wow.... Layla was right, we could do it. I thought I wouldn't be able too... I'm even getting an award for Most Achievement. Bella was called first for her speech. She got the award for Perfect Attendance. She even came on snow days.... She said a speech on how she is so happy to get the award... and she also mentioned being happy for her weird sickness prevention thing? I don't even know... They called a bunch of other awards. Then the principle said "Haley Well for Most achievement." she congratulated me and then I walked to the microphone and I looked around at everyone then started my speech. "Hey everyone. First i'd like to thank my best friends Bella Farrell and Layla Baldondo for motivating me to keep proceeding. Even though i'm the one getting this award, I think everyone deserves this awards, because I look around and I see we've all achieved so much and have all been so successful. I love all of you and this school deeply, I really hope we will meet again." I walk off the stage, Layla and Bella both tell me i did great even though I'm pretty sure I sucked. Now its Layla's turn for her speech... She'll do fine, I know it.
Layla's POV~
So there I was. I was sitting in the auditorium of my high school, waiting for my name to be called. I was so nervous, even though it won’t be the first time my name is called because I already got my diploma. I’m the last speech of the day. I was nominated for Best motivator. Everyone started clapping and the boy who won academic athlete got of the stage. I know i’m next. I can hardly breath. I hear my name. I stand up, take a deep breath, and walk towards the stadium. Once I got on the stage, my principle handed me my award. I looked around to see my best friends hollering. They're the best. Once everyone settled down i started my speech. "Hello everyone. I look around today and I realize how far we've all gotten." They started playing a tape behind me of us since Kindergarten to now. "We all have achieved so much, in so little time. It feels like yesterday I was walking into the kindergarten class of my first day to see all of you. Now we’re graduating. We are the class of 2015. We've all made our memories and had a great time, and still managed to come this far. I knew we could do it. I knew we all could. No matter who failed grades or who didn't, we're all here today to celebrate it. I'm so proud of everyone, it makes me so happy to even be able to say this speech today. I really hope we all will achieve more in life, no matter whether we can dance the salsa," I point to a guy who stands up and starts dancing and makes everyone laugh. "Or we can do math really fast in our heads. Like say... Pi times 72 squared." I say then point to a girl who stands up and points at the air then says "16286.0163162" which everyone also laughed at. "I really hope to see you all again, I had so much fun all these years. 'I do my thing and you do your thing. You are you and I am I. Congratulations! We did it!" Everyone claps and I blush a little of course. I run down to my friends to celebrate.
