Louis's Cousin

Niall's P. O. V.
When we got there, Jade signed in and they gave her a number. The number was 155677. It happened to be the first 3 of Louis' number and the last 3 of my number when we where on the X-Factor. It was kinda funny.

We walked over to were she was to wait. She had about 10 minutes before she had to preform. We all sat down on the boxes by the stage. She sat between Louis and I. Holding both of our hands. Jade put her head on Louis' shoulder and closed her eyes. They both have the same color hair and eyes. I can see how Louis says the could be siblings instead of cousins. They even kinda walked the same. Louis said that when Jade first moved to England, he had to teach her a lot of things she would have to know for school; the slang we use and what it means, terms that aren't in America, and some of the history like past kings and queens. He said she was a fast learned and she is. When i started teaching her to play guitar, win thin 10 minutes of being with her, she had the major scale and turning down. She is talented and smart.

They called her name over the PA system telling her it was time for her to sing. Louis and I walked to the stage with her. I walked over to her first.

"Good luck. Your amazingly talented and if they don't see that because of your age, it's their lost." I then kissed her in her forehead and let Louis tell her something. I didn't hear what he said to her. They didn't have the music for her to sing to so they asked me if i had it on my phone which i do. It's what she would practice from back in Doncaster.

They hooked up my phone and let me stand beside the stage and watch her. I told her i would nod when it was time for her to sing.

She walked out on stage and told the judges who she was, her age and what she was going to sing. Simon already knew her. He called her Miss Tomlinson. Her last name in America was Miller but when Louis became her legal guardian, she want to change it to his last name.

They started playing the music. I counted the beats in my head. She looked at me. I nodded. She held up the mic to song but nothing would come out. She looked at me with a worry look. She dropped the mic and froze. I knew exactly what was happening. She was having an anxiety attack.

I ran out to her and picked her up. She only weighted about 90 pounds. That was caused by her parents abuse; besides beating her, they would stave her. She hasn't eaten a lot since. Louis met me where I was standing.

"Jade? It's Niall. Blink if you can hear and understand what I'm saying." She didn't blink. Oh shit! She blacked out. Think Niall! "Louis, go get me a class of water!"

"Wh-"

"Just do it!" I cut him off. I knew what I had to do.

"Here." Louis came back and gave me the water. It wasn't a lot but it was enough.

"Sorry babe. But this will snap you out of it." I poured the water her head. I knew it would snap her out of it.

"NIALL JAMES HORAN!! What the hell was that for?!!!"

"Hey! That hurt!" She slapped me in my right shoulder. "You blacked out so i snapped you out of it."

Damn! She hit me hard! I rubbed where she hit me.

"Oh. Sorry. Wait. Did I sing?"

"No you blacked out right before. Sorry." Louis said, he knew I was in a little pain.

Simon walked onto the stage and over to us. "Hey, Niall and Louis. Miss Tomlinson, are you okay?"

"Yes, sir. I'm fine now. Just my nerves got to me. I'm sorry."

"Would you like to try again?"

"No thank you sir. If I cant preform now i don't know if i can every week."

"Are you sure Miss Tomlinson? We'll let you if you want to."

"Yes sir, I'm sure. Thank you though."

Oh my god. Did she just do that?
