You're Cute Come Kiss Me ~ H.S. Fanfiction
Chapter Thirty-Eight
Nia's POV
Monday
I woke up earlier than I expected since Austin was calling.
"Why are you calling so early," I asked groggily. "Sorry, babe! I just wanted to say that we're going to hike today so there won't be any cell service," Austin said, like he was rushing. "Okay, bye babe, I love you," I said. "Love you, too, bye," he exclaimed before hanging up.
I got up and yawned before shuffling to the kitchen. I made some eggs and ate it for breakfast before deciding I was having a 'lazy day'.
I lounged on the couch and put my feet up. I turned the TV on and tuned in to last week's episode of American Idol.
Halfway through the show, I got a text from Harry saying he'll pick me up at six.
I dismissed the idea of getting ready now since I had ten more hours alone.

Around four, I decided to start getting ready.
I took a shower and dressed into a pair of skinny jeans a plain, blue crop top, and a pair of worn out Converses.
I did my make-up and hair just ten minutes before Harry came.
"Are you ready," he asked, once I opened the door. "Yeah," I smiled. I stuffed my phone in my pocket before walking out of the house and locking the front door.
"Is it okay if we walk," Harry asked. "Yes, sure," I smiled as he led the way.
It was just a couple blocks until we reached the movie theater. "We're watching a movie," I asked. "Yes."
He dug into one of his pockets and pulled two, pre-bought tickets to 'The Longest Ride'.
"How did you know I like that," I asked, surprised. "I was at your house one time and I saw this book on your shelf," he smiled, leading me into the cinema.

When the movie finished, Harry regretted not driving because it was raining.
"Here," Harry said, putting his coat over us. "Can you run," he smirked. "Can I," I laughed, pulling his hand - but keeping the coat over us - and running to the house.
By the time we got home, we were semi-wet but laughing. "Come on, let's get inside," I laughed.
We got inside and slumped on the couch. "I don't think that rain is stopping anytime soon," Harry mumbled. "Well... Would you like to stay here," I asked.
"I, that would be rude-," Harry started but I cut him off. "It's fine," I reassured him before he nodded.
After dinner, I gave Harry some pillows and blankets and he settled down on the couch.
Even though I was in bed, I couldn't quite bring myself to sleep. So I decided to check if Harry was sleeping.
I tip-toed down the hall. But I must've been loud because Harry looked up at me.
"Sorry, I-I'll go back-," I started. "No it's okay," Harry said, sitting up. "I couldn't sleep either."
And that one sentence took my mouth over.
"Would you like to sleep in my room," I gulped as Harry nodded.
We kept our distance in the bed but we were still next to each other. We faced opposite ways but it still felt better than being alone.
