You're Cute Come Kiss Me ~ H.S. Fanfiction
Chapter Eighteen
Nia's POV
~ Two Months Later ~
"Bye, Harry," I said, pecking his cheek. "Bye, love," he said. "So, I'll pick you up at twelve," he asked. "Yeah," I replied. I walked downstairs and kissed my mum on the cheek before saying, "bye!" "Where are you going," she asked. "I'm just going to get a check-up for my stomach aches," I lied.
But it wasn't entirely lying. I was going to have a check up but not for any 'consistent stomach aches'., it was because I kept puking. Though my mum believed they were stomach aches but just to be sure, I decided to take a pregnancy test.

"Miss Evans," the lady behind the desk asked. I stood up and headed over to her. She led me into a room with a divider and a desk near the entrance. It had cabinets and a fridge - probably full of medical syrups.
The woman left and I sat down on a chair beside the desk. The doctor gave me a warm smile. "Hi, sweetie. I'm Dr. Carmie," she greeted, expanding her hand and I shook it.
"Symptoms," she asked. "Puking and I've been eating a lot," I said. "Okay," she replied. "Come back here and I'll run a test," she said, walking behind the binder. I followed her and she ran a test.

I was afraid. Yes, I would care for the child but what about Harry and Mum? Will they care for the child? Will Harry accept that he had a child?
I shook off the idea when the lady called my name again. She asked me to walk back into the room and I sat down where I sat earlier.
"Would it be bad news or good news if you were pregnant," she asked. "I really don't know," I replied. "Well then let's just say I have news," she smiled, handing me a piece of paper with a clear word spelled across it:
POSITIVE
I gasped and put my hand over my mouth. "Congratulations," Dr. Carmie smiled. And I couldn't even speak.

I waited in the hospital's front entrance for Harry, anxious to see his reaction. But he didn't come, instead Perrie did.
"Per? What are you doing here," I asked. "Harry asked me to go get you. He's at the other hospital downtown," Perrie panicked. I got in her van and we drove to the downtown hospital.

I didn't even want to ask Perrie why Harry was here; I was too afraid of the answer. "Room 326," the lady behind the desk said. Perrie and I quickly ran to the room but stopped in front of the door. "Do you want to go in first," Perrie asked. I nodded. I turned the door, afraid to look.
But it wasn't Harry; Harry wasn't even inside. It was May. She looked my direction, before smiling a bit. "Come in," she said, barley a whisper. I walked inside, stopping at the foot of the bed. She turned her wrist, it was filled with cuts, elbow to wrist. "May, did we do that," I asked and she nodded lightly. "May, I'm so, so, very sorry," I said, a tear rolling down my cheek. "Don't apologize, the blade took over," she said, smiling slightly. "Just promise me something," she started as I nodded. "Be nicer. The nicer you wish I was," she said. And finally I couldn't take seeing her like that, so I ran outside.
I cried outside the hospital until someone wrapped their arms around me. "Nia, Nia, what happen," Harry asked as I cried into his shirt. "May," was all I could say. "May's alright. I talked to her already," Harry said. "Yeah, but we made her cut! It was our fault," I cried. "We never should have pretended," I sobbed. "But if we never pretended, then we never would have fallen," Harry reminded me. "Yeah. Which is why I need to break up with you," I gulped. "What? Why," Harry yelled. "I feel so guilty now, Harry. I can't handle everything now," I cried turning away from him.
I am so gonna regret this.
