A Teenage Dirtbag
First Day In
Louis' POV:
I heard a soft knock on the door and immediately stood up from the couch, trying not to trip over the extra boxes lying around. I'd found Harry's house, he lives alone, so I just packed his crap and took it over here. Packing for Cecelia wasn't that easy. She lived with her brother, Conner, the one I punched in the face. He didn't think it was safe, blah blah blah. So while he was ranting I went around her house, packing what I knew she wouldn't mind that I'd packed for her, I did pack her bras and underwear too. Which, since her and Harry are dating (ew), he wouldn't be happy about it.
Honestly I didn't understand why they were even dating, it actually confused me. I mean, she's not his type at all. His type is one night stands, sluts, girls with make up covered faces. Cecelia was nothing like that. Now that I think about that I'm wondering how many times they've slept together, after all they'd said they'd been together for weeks. Ugh, I'd kissed my best mates girl. How dumb am I? Very dumb, Louis, my subconscious added at me.
"Oh shut up," and opened the door slowly. Surprise hit me in the face when I saw who was standing there.
"Hi Lou," the girl spoke and smiled at me slightly.
I looked at her as if she was crazy before murmuring my response, "Hi.. Shelby..."
Harry's POV:
I bit the inside of my cheek and looked at Cecelia. She was carelessly walking down the sidewalk, looking at each of the people who passed her by and smiling to them. She was different that was for sure. I had my hands in my pockets as I walked behind her, watching at her kindness. Most people would think she's a party girl, but really, she was nothing of the sort.
She was innocent, so to say.
And that just made me want her more. But Louis.. I saw the way he looked at her, like he loved her and she was his heartbreak girl. I sighed and stopped in my tracks, watching as she didn't notice my disappearance from her side. She looked deep in thought, and I know why she would be. Her family would most likely be worried about some stranger coming and getting her stuff, and I acted so close with her, too bad I'd never be able to tell her it was all an act. I had to do it, to get back in Louis' life, I knew she'd be the only way for me to get there. So I needed her, I had to finish what I started. It was the only way Jonah would ever let me off the hook.
Suddenly she turned around, finally noticing I wasn't walking. "What's wrong?" Cecelia asked taking a few steps toward me. She grabbed my large hand in her smaller one and squeezed it lightly.
No wonder Louis likes her so much.. she's good company.
With a small shake of my head I plastered a smile on my face, forgetting what I had to do, and playing my act on full blast. "Nothing," I lied raising her hand to my lips and gently kissing it, her cheeks flushed red deeply. And if I admit, she looked cute like that.
But her hair fell over her cheeks, showing me nothing and she smiled at me again. Beginning to turn around and walk. She pulled me up to her side and I wrapped my arm around her waist; pulling her into my right side. "You're really warm," Cece murmured quietly and snuggled herself more into me.
Really? I should be cold, because my heart is cold too, I thought to myself and nodded, showing her a small dimpled smile. "Thanks love," a look of hurt crossed her face when I called her love but she quickly lost that look.
