* Lady Veronica's POV*

I collapsed onto my bed, kicking off my shoes as I went. My arm still hurt from where Mother pinched me. Apparently it isn't lady like to call the prince a dunce.

Crissa helped me to strip into my nightgowns, and I went onto the balcony to get some air.

"Fancy seeing you again!" A familiar voice shouted. I looked down to see the knight from before looking up at me.

I drew my robe in around my body.

"Are you watching me change, you dirty bastard?"

"I bed your pardon?!" He exclaimed, turning his face away. I giggled, and a small smile inched its way up his face.

"Must I always look up to you like this?" He asked, taking a step closer.

"As long as I am a Lady and you a knight, you will. Which reminds me, praytell why you visit our manor at so late a time as this?"

He ran a hand through his hair.

"I watch the nightshift on m'lady's ground."

"You mean to tell me you watch me in my nightgowns often?"

Even though it was dark out, I could see his face turn crimson.

"Why of course not. Tonight is but my first night."

I nodded in deep thought, before stepping back into the window frame .

"Well I bid thee goodnight." I said, nodding to him and making my exit.

"Goodnight Lady Roni." I heard him say. Before I could correct him, he had walked away. Whistling loudly.

"Goodnight Sir Harry." I whispered, closing my window.
