*Sir Harry's POV*

I passed Starlet an apple and sat down next to her, eating one of my own.

The sun reflected off of the water, making the small lake look like a giant mirror. I skipped a rock over the surface, shattering it's reflection of the world.

"I hate my life!" I thought, leaning down into the pond.

I had heard just the other day that Veronica and Jefferson were planning the wedding. Cake tasting, dress searching. And she hadn't even visited me or talked to me since that day in the garden.

A week ago.

How can she kiss me and then go on planning her fairytale wedding? She was jesting with both me and Jefferson.

"Fuck you Veronica!" I growled. I skipped another rock, but it landed with a plop! And sunk to the bottom of the lake.

"Oi. So I guess it was a bad time for me to come down to the lake." A grim voice said behind me.

"Veronica!" I whipped around startled. She stood with one hand on her hip and the other holding Bayflower's reigns.

"Hello Harry."

I turned and walked away, grabbing Starlet and preparing to ride off. She grabbed my hand and made me face her.

"Harry please! Don't go. I'm sorry! Why are you mad?"

I grabbed her now, my voice coming out a harsh whisper.

"Why am I mad? Why am I mad?! Maybe it was because you kissed me and then tossed me aside like yesterday's news to plan your stupid wedding! Shit Veronica! You moved into his house with him!! Or maybe it was even that you hadn't come up to me and told me formally to pretend nothing happened! I'm sorry but you can't just kiss someone and then disappear!!"

Her face fell and she stepped away.

"I didn't know that was how you felt."

"You didn't think about how I felt either. You're just like all of those other girls. Playing with a man's emotions. You are no better than the Harlot's in the Whore House."

The words hurt ME coming out of my mouth but I didn't care.

Veronica's face lit up with anger.

"How about you hear MY side of the story first Harry. How I haven't been able to think of this wedding right because I'm always looking out of the window dreaming of you! I wonder on the daily what you're doing and how you're feeli-"

"Ahh! So you're playing your fiance!"

Her face was bright red now and she had grown atleast two inches taller.

"How dare you insult me in such ways!!" She shouted.

Well I could shout too.

"How dare you insult me in such ways!!"

We stood there glaring at each other. Our faces only inches away.

"You're a bitch Veronica."

I felt her hands on my chest and next thing I knew I was submerged in water. The cold temperature made my skin go numb immediately. I swam up to where her figure stood, screaming at me.

"Did you know of the night's where I waited for you out on the balcony? Or the days I spent searching the castle grounds for you?!? Where were you then Harry? Huh? Because you sure as hell didn't seek ME out either!"

I grabbed her arm and she fell in next to me.

I was mad that she was right. I DIDN'T seek her out. It was so much easier to be angry with her. Veronica came up next to me dripping and breathing hard.

"Ugh Harry! You are so stupid! Why do you think I kissed you in the first place? It's because I fucking like you!"

I froze in place. My heart beat quickened and I swam over to her.

"What?"

"You heard me asshole."

I grabbed her waist and pulled her to me.

"You wanna know why I didn't come around?"

"Why?"

We were both whispering.

"Because I fucking like you TOO."

And then I kissed HER. It was fueled by anger and hate, and.... Lust.

And it felt incredible.

I gotta admit, I LOVED WRITING THIS CHAPTER!!! I'm falling for this couple, yo! Let Veronarry HAPPEN!!! xD
I'll put up one more chapter before bed.
