No Control

The first day of the fashion conference went well. I met so many amazing people. I’m really glad I came, however I miss Liam so much. He’s become such an important part of me, I just don’t feel whole without him.
As I get ready for the introductory cocktail party tonight, I find another note from Liam in my things.
“I love the sound of your voice, the touch of your hand and the way you smile.”
My heart flutters. I love these sweet notes that he’s hidden all through my things for me to find.
Before I slip on my dress I take a picture in my red lace bra and panties. I send it to Liam. I barely have time to put on my dress before I get his reply.
“Babe!”
I laugh as I read the text. My phone goes off again. It’s Liam calling for a facetime.
I answer. “Hi handsome.”
“Hi beautiful. Thanks for the picture. I think red is my favorite color. How long till you come back?”
“Not soon enough. I mean I had a great first day, I just miss you so much.”
“I miss you too love. All of you.” Liam says with a wink.
I tell Liam all about my day as he listens intently. He’s genuinely interested. Then he fills me in on his day. Sounds like the boys are trying to keep him busy.
Caroline comes by my room so we can head to the cocktail party. She says hi to Liam.
“Take good care of her Caroline. Don’t let any guys hit on her. She’s mine.”
Caroline laughs. “You aren’t jealous are you Liam?”
“Yes I am, I don’t trust those guys.” Liam tells her.
“You don’t have a thing to worry about Liam. These guys have nothing on you.” I wink at him.
Liam smiles. “I love you babe. Please be careful.”
“I love you too and I’ll talk to you later.” I tell him.
Caroline adds. “I’ll watch out for her Liam.”

The cocktail party was nice but I’m happy to be back in my room so I can talk to Liam. I change into one of Liam’s shirts that I brought with me to sleep in. I climb into bed and put the note with his cologne on it under my pillow. I look around the room at all the beautiful roses. I’m thinking yet again about how incredible Liam is, when he calls.
“Hi beautiful. How was the party?” Liam asks when I answer.
“It was nice. Your hair looks wet. Are you fresh out of the shower?’ I’m suddenly quite warm. I throw off the covers.
“Yes and I thought about you the whole time, wishing you were in there with me.” Liam smirks.
I fan myself so he can see how hot he’s making me. “You are a tease Liam Payne!”
Liam laughs. “And you love it.”
“I do.” I smirk. “But I’ll get you back.”
Liam gets a serious look. “I can’t wait.”
We chat for awhile and when I tell Liam I had trouble sleeping last night he tells me to lie down and put the phone on my pillow. I get comfortable and place the phone on my pillow so that I’m looking into Liam’s gorgeous eyes.
He begins singing to me. Tears form in my eyes, my heart swells….He’s singing me to sleep. I mouth I love you to him as he sings. He winks at me as he continues to calm me with his perfect voice. If I can’t have him beside me, this is the next best thing.
