No Control

Liam and I head straight to the stadium after landing. On the ride over I ask Liam. “So we are letting everyone know about us now? No more secret?”
“Yes love. No need to hide our relationship. We’ll just have to find new ways to sneak about.” He wiggles his eyebrows. “Like backstage before a concert.”
I smirk. “Sounds fun.” And kiss him. A nice long kiss to hold us over for a bit.
When we arrive at the stadium everyone else is already there. As we exit the car Liam puts his arm around my waist and whispers in my ear. “It will be fine babe. I love you.” Then kisses me on my head.
“I love you too Liam.” I tell him as he takes my hand and we walk inside.
Everyone is hanging out in a large room backstage. Liam and I walk in holding hands.
Everyone turns to look at us, then does a double take at our hands. Funny how no one really looks surprised. Did everyone else really know we should be a couple before we did?
Louis speaks first. “Well, well. Someone had a really good week off!”
The other boys laugh. Liam looks down at me with a grin that is part sweet, part naughty and says. “Actually yes, we did.”
I smile and look up to make eye contact with Caroline for the first time. The look on her face is a combination of proud mom and haha I was right.
I walk over to her. She is grinning from ear to ear. “Yes Caroline, you were right all along.” I tell her.
She laughs. “I’m so glad you two figured it out. So happy for you.” She gives me a big hug.
When I return to Liam he is sitting in a chair talking with the other guys. I don’t want to interrupt so I stand behind his chair. Liam continues to talk but reaches behind, takes my hand, gently pulls me in front of him and has me sit on his lap. He puts his arm around my waist as they carry on their conversation. We tell them about our trip (not everything of course) before they head off to do sound check. Liam gives me a kiss and I tell him I’ll try to pop out there if I have time.
As Liam heads to sound check I meet Caroline in wardrobe. As we work she wants to hear all about our trip. Her favorite part is when I tell her about the woman outside Juliet’s house. “How romantic.” She says. By the time I get to the part about the gazebo and declaring our love for each other, she is in absolute tears. I give her a hug. “Go watch sound check for a few minutes, while I compose myself.” She tells me. I laugh. She may very well be more invested in this relationship than even Liam and I are.
I stand there watching sound check. Liam hasn’t spotted me yet. I look at him and wonder how I didn’t know all along that I would fall in love with him. He spots me now and his face lights up. When I have to go back to work, I blow Liam a kiss. He pretends to catch it and put it in his pocket. I walk away laughing out loud. We are so cheesy.
After Caroline and I get everything ready for the concert tonight, we sit and chat for a bit.
Paddy comes in and says he needs my help with something. I can’t imagine what it could be but I go with him. He leads me out to the empty stadium and has me sit in a seat in the front row. I look around and the only people I see anywhere are the band on stage. I look at Paddy and he grins and tells me to stay right there, then he leaves.
The band begins to play. Right away I recognize it. It’s the song Liam wrote for us. I look up and see Liam walking on stage. He starts singing our song. I am living out what must be every girls fantasy. His voice sounds so beautiful in that empty stadium. Every word directed only to me. He walks to the end of the stage. I get up and walk to him. He sits on the edge of the stage, holding my hand and finishes the song. After he finishes, he helps me up on the stage. My mouth anxiously waits for his to bend down to meet it. I break away from our kisses only long enough to tell him. “That was incredible Liam. I love that you do all these amazing things for me.”
“You deserve all of it and so much more love.”
Liam gives me a sweet kiss on the forehead before he moves down and his tongue is possessing my mouth.
We both hear someone clear their throat. It’s Paddy. He tells us it’s time to go to the hotel.
Liam looks at me and winks. “Perfect timing.”
Before we leave, the person who handles all the hotel arrangements hands Liam his room key and hands me mine.
Liam takes mine and hands it back. “From now on we’ll only need one room. Thank you.” Liam takes my hand and we head out to the car.
I’m not sure exactly why, but that was incredibly hot!
