No Control

In the car on the way back, Liam takes my hand. “I am sorry for the way I acted. I don’t really have any right to act like you’re mine. It’s just I got so jealous when I saw that guy with you and I wanted to protect you.”
“Liam, please don’t apologize. I think you acted perfectly.” I touch the side of his face. “And lets be honest, I think we both know that...regardless of what kind of relationship we have right now...I am yours.”
Liam’s eyes are sparkling with moisture. My heart skips a beat as he says quietly to me. “Please tell me that you know that I am yours as well.”
The tears spill over from my eyes. Liam kisses them away.
“Liz, I know we need to talk about us and.” I cut him off.
“No Liam, not now. Right now let’s just enjoy each other and this time we have together. We can figure out all that later.”
Liam looks at me and smiles. “Do you have any idea how amazing you are?’
Before I can say anything we are back at the villa.
Liam takes my hand and he walks us straight back to the pool area. He climbs into a deck chair and motions for me to lie with him. He holds me and we lie there for awhile looking up at the beautiful italian sky.
When we go to bed I stand in front of Liam and remove my dress. His eyes light up when he sees my bright pink bra and panties. I leave my heels on. He approaches me, his eyes dark with want. The feeling is mutual.
I unbutton his shirt, kissing his chest as I go. He watches me intently as I remove his pants. His mouth is on mine and we are stumbling backwards together to the bed. As Liam takes charge and we scream out together, there is no doubt in either of our minds that we belong to each other.
