No Control

The next day we decide to go check out the little town near by. It’s not a very long drive but I still find myself going back and forth between wanting to look at the beautiful view outside my window and looking at the even better view in the car next to me.
Liam catches me looking at him. “What?” He asks me.
“I’m just having trouble taking my eyes off of you.” I smile.
Liam grins and takes my hand and kisses it. “I know the feeling love.”
There’s that adorable wink that literally takes my breath away. Liam keeps my hand in his for the rest of the drive. Every so often he rubs his thumb gently across my hand. I had no idea such a simple gesture could send electric shocks through my body.
When we arrive at the town, Liam parks and comes over to my side to open the door for me. I step out of the car and Liam shuts the door, then he grabs my waist and moves me up against the car. He moves in close till there is no space between us.
“I’ve been wanting to do this the whole ride here.” Liam says before leaning in to kiss me.
I’ve never had anyone kiss me the way Liam does. I swear every part of us fits together perfectly. I won’t let my mind go there, that just maybe we were made for each other.
Liam pulls back a bit then gently leans his forehead against mine. “Mmm, that’s better.” He smirks. I touch the side of his face. “Very nice.”
He takes my hand, kisses the palm and says. “Let’s go.”
He puts his hand on the small of my back as we begin to check out the town.
The town is old fashioned and cute. We stroll through the streets holding hands, it feels so nice to be out in the open and not hiding like we normally do.
We have lunch at the cutest little restaurant. As we eat I look across at Liam and he’s staring at me. “What? Do I have food in my teeth?”
Liam laughs. “No. You just look so beautiful.”
I laugh. “Ya right. I’m just wearing a t-shirt and jeans. I don’t have much make up on and I didn’t do anything with my hair.”
“Exactly. You look perfectly, naturally, beautiful.” He reaches across the table and takes my hand.
I look him in the eyes. “Thank you.”
“For what?” He asks me.
“For always making me feel special and beautiful.” I squeeze his hand.
Liam smiles. “You make it easy love.”
We finish our meal then look through the little shops. I’m looking through an adorable little clothing boutique when Liam brings this little black dress over to me.
“This one.” He says matter of factly.
I smile. “You like that one? Should I try it on?”
He smirks. “Yes please.”
Liam sits in a chair outside the dressing room while I try on the dress. I put it on and turn to face the mirror. Wow, Liam has good taste.
It’s black and simple, yet fits me perfectly. It has a clingy fit but not too tight. It shows a bit more cleavage than I normally do but it seems to work with the dress. The length is just right. I put on the black sparkly heels the lady suggested I try on with it.
I open the door and step out to show Liam. He stands up and his jaw literally drops. Now that’s the kind of reaction a girl wants.
I watch him swallow hard as he takes me all in. He walks towards me. “You look breathtakingly flawless. It’s like that dress was made just for you. Do you like it?”
“Thank you. Yes I love it. It makes me feel beautiful.” I assure him.
“You have that backwards love, It’s you that makes the dress beautiful.” He leans in and kisses me, then whispers in my ear. “Please let me buy it for you babe.”
Liam pulls back and looks at me for my answer. I meet his sweet, kind, dark eyes and just shake my head yes.
He grins, excited and kisses my forehead. I put my arms around his waist and quietly tell him thank you for the dress. He meets my eyes and tells me. “It’s my pleasure. I wish you’d let me do it more often.”
I give him a smile and then change out of the dress.
