No Control

I knock on Liam’s hotel room door. As he opens it he says. “Hey, come on in.”
“I brought the food, what are we watching tonight?” I ask.
“How about something scary?”
“Sounds good.” I reply
As we sit together on the couch watching the movie, out of the corner of my eye I see Liam looking at me. Sometimes I feel like he might be attracted to me, but then I always doubt myself and figure I’m just imagining it. I know sitting here, this close to him, I definitely have some impure thoughts going on.
When the movie ends I tell Liam. “Just so you know, that movie was scary as hell, there’s no way I’m going back to my room alone.”
Liam laughs. “That’s funny, cause I was just gonna ask you not to leave me here alone. That movie was freaky.”
I take the remote control. “Let’s see what’s on regular tv.” I flip through the channels a bit. “Oh hey how about some Timberlake, Friends With Benefits?”
We watch for a bit then Liam says. “You know maybe there’s something to this friends with benefits thing. I mean I’m not looking for a relationship right now.”
Then I add. “But it does get lonely.”
“Exactly.” Liam agrees.
“Have you ever done that before? Friends with benefits?” I ask.
“No.’ He replies. “Have you?”
“No I haven’t.”
“Would you want to?” Liam asks.
My head shoots up to meet his eyes. I’m totally surprised but he looks serious. When I don’t say anything he speaks again.
“I mean you and I being friends with benefits, what do you think?”
I finally get over my shock and just go with my first thought. “I think it might be a great idea. I mean we are friends, we like to hang out. And I’m definitely sexually attracted to you.”
Liam grins. “You are?” I nod my head. “Good, cause I’m really attracted to you. I haven’t been able to stop staring at you all night.”
I smile. I guess I was right. “So we are going to do this? And we keep it a secret just between us right?” I ask.
“Yes and yes.” Liam says with a wink.
Liam moves closer to me.
“Wait, maybe we should watch the movie first to see how it turns out.” I say.
Liam moves even closer, puts his hand on my thigh and whispers in my ear. “Do you really want to wait that long?”
Oh my, I’m suddenly very warm everywhere. “No, no I don’t.”
