Lost In Time

*Harry*

"Where is she?" I asked Louis.

"She's on her balcony." He sighed.

A few tears slipped from his eyes.

"Lou-" I started, "Why're you crying?"

"It hurts to have my best friend cut behind my back and not tell me, Harry." He said.

"I'm sorry Lou." I held my head low, "I'm gonna go talk to Quinny."

I walked up the stairs an into her bedroom. She was sitting on a balcony chair as the wind blew her hair in different directions.

"Quinny?" I asked leaning on the door frame to the balcony.

She turned around- looking at me and squinting because of the setting sun. Strands of her hair blew in her face. God she's beautiful.

"H-Hey H-Harry." She whispered.

"I just wanted to talk to you.." I rolled up my sleeve, "About this."

She winced and gestures for me to sit down- which I did. She grabbed my wrist and ran her fingertips over my scars. Then- that made me realize.

"Quinny? Can I see your wrists?" I said.

She rolled up her sleeves and I was released to see no new cuts. But she had a ton of scars.

"I haven't been cutting my wrists. Darcy would notice." She mumbled.

"Then what have you been cutting, Quinny?" A knot formed in my stomach.

"My thighs." She whispered, "And hips."

I sighed and put a piece of her hair behind her ear, "Quinny. I love you so much and I couldn't love without you. I missed you and couldn't go a day without thinking about you. You are my everything- please don't ever leave me again." My voice cracked.

"I'm sorry Harry." She whispered, "Please don't ever cut again. Promise me you won't."

"I promise." I held up my right hand.

I took her small hands in mine and decided to ask her about Darcy.

"Why'd you name her Darcy?" I asked.

"Because- even if you weren't going to be able to raise her I might as well name her what you always wanted." She smiled, "She reminds me of you. Darcy. Her smile, her eyes, the way she speaks. Those dimples." Her smile grew.

"I want to stay."

"What?" She breathed.

"I want to stay here- with you and Darcy. I want to raise her. I want to be able to love you again."

She blinked the tears in her eyes away and traced my jawline with her thumb. I did what I've been craving to do for two years- I smashed my lips to her.

She immediately kissed back and pulled on the curls at the nape of my neck.

"I love you Harry." She laid our foreheads together.

"I love you too Quinny."

"Mummie?" Darcy asked, "Can daddy put me to be tonight?"

Quinny widened her eyes and looked at me, "I-If that's alright with h-him."

I nodded my head and kissed Quinny's cheek. I took Darcy's hand in mine as she lead me upstairs to her room.

"Mommie talked about you a lot." Darcy said.

"She-She did?"

Darcy nodded, "She cried too."

I sighed- I will make it up to Quinny to tonight.

"C'mon." She giggled, "This is my room!"

She opened a door and her room was purple with painting of princesses all around. She had a princess bed with a pink veil hanging over it.

Darcy got in her bed and I tucked her in.

"Goodnight daddy." She mumbled.

"Goodnight princess." I smiled.

I kissed her forehead.

"I love you." She said.

I felt my heart swell, "I love you too baby."

I kissed her head once more and then shut her bedroom door. Quinny stood by the door as she covered her face with one of her hands. She smiled weakly as she cried.

"I'm sorry." She laughed, "I'm an idiot."

"It's okay love." I picked her up and slung her over my shoulder, "It's your turn."
