Scarlett's POV

“Hello?” I answered, smiling. As soon as I saw Harry’s name, I couldn’t help but feel fluttery.
“Okay, so do you remember how you asked if I wanted to talk about my problems?” He asked. I nod to myself even though he can’t see me.
“Yeah and you never texting back or talking to me at all until now?” I say, laughing.
“Yeah, sorry about that. I didn’t know what to do.” He says. “Is the offer still on the table?” He asks.
“What?” I ask, confused.
“To talk about my problems?” He says.
“Oh, yeah, sure.” I say. I’m not sure why Harry is opening up to me but I don’t mind. He’s very nice and funny. I’d love to hear anything he says with that sexy British accent.
“So, the other night, when I was messaging you, I was with someone else.” He says, sighing loudly. Why is he telling me this? “This girl, Elle, she drives me fucking insane but I can’t stay away from her. It’s like I’m Superman and she’s my kryptonite.” He says. I can’t help but smile at his Superman reference, seeing the nerdy Harry come out for a second. “I know what you’re thinking. Why is this guy calling me to tell me about another girl?” He asks.
“Exactly.” I say, getting serious quickly. I hold my breath.
“Because I think you can help me get away from her.” He confessed. I let out the air and smile widely. My stomach turns over inside and it feel jittery.
“What does that mean, exactly?” I ask.
“I need you to help me, if you don’t mind. I need you to be with me all the time. I love talking to you and you get my mind off of Elle. You’re different. One of the firsts to be able to grab my attention.” He says. Oh my… “Scarlett?” He says when I don’t reply. Oh my, the way he says my name.
“Okay. I’ll help you.” I breathe.
“Oh my god, thank you so much Scarlett. You won’t regret this.” He tells me. I smile, happy to hang out with Harry. “Can we start tomorrow?” He asks.
“Meet me at Scrappy’s at 10:00 AM.” I say. He agrees, saying bye, and hanging up.
