Chapitre Quatre

I lied still, staring at him as he smirks.

"What?" He asks.

"Are you seriously the next youngest?" I question.

"Last time I checked." He answers, unzipping his suitcase.

"How old are you?" I inquire.

"Eighteen." He replies as my mind screeches a dammit. "You can't be much younger, you're like sixteen, right?"

"Try thirteen." I respond, slightly shocked.

"Really? You don't seem like it." He comments as he puts his stuff away.

We continue the next few moments in silence. It's a good thing, in a way, because my thoughts are so loud I probably wouldn't hear a word he'd say.

In my mind, a million voices were screaming reasons for thinking "dammit" when Luke spoke his age. Some (majority) of the voices were screaming that I had a crush on him, others were saying elsewhat.

All I could pray for was that this isn't the work of IMP69.

Then I remembered that I didn't exactly have the drug in me, so I couldn't be affected.

Or could I?

The next few days pass in a less awkward way. Luke and I talk more and more, and I can feel him warming up to me, as if he's hitting on me. I consider it for a moment, then shoot it down in regards of him being eighteen.

It was kind of the same way with the rest if the guys, too. I could talk endlessly with Louis about theatre, and Michael had a sudden obsession with my ability to speak French.

All of them were so different, yet so the same. Like, they all had certain things in common, such as their love for music and their love for their fans. Oh, and their love for pizza.

At the end of the two weeks, the boys (and my mum) all agreed to go out and celebrate. When they invited me along, I kindly declined.

"I have some homework to catch up on," I say for a reason. "And it'll be easy to do in the quiet.

Everyone understood, and before I knew it, everybody including the crew were going out to the club.

"Be good," Mom says, kissing my head.

"Yes, yes." I say as she exits the hotel room.

The truth was, I didnt have that much homework. I just needed free time to think about Luke.

And what the shell that boy was doing to my brain.
