Black Markings
Black markings
dance across the page,
elegant swoops,
loops,
and swirls.
A symbol of the past,
once making sense,
is now obsolete,
those black markings
dancing across the page,
intricate designs
well thought,
carefully put.
Black markings,
once forming words,
a reminder of a past civilization,
that no one now knows.
Mysterious markings
across the page,
swirl and twirl
together.
Notes
Comment if you like it. I think it's pretty obvious what the poem is about
I'm not too sure if you're still doing this but if you are, could you review my story 'The Donation'? Thank you
