Serenity pov:
I walked with my arm looped through Niall’s arm and was either sit with my group of bossy friends, or sit with Ed and his three friends. Ed seems to be the best bet. After the lunch line, i dragged the five of them over to Ed's table.
"Hey,shithead." Ed muttered. Charlie, Mason and Tyler all seemed to smile at me. Mason patted the seat next to me.
"Why not sit by your lovely friends? “Mason asked, emphasizing the word lovely.
"Maybe there is something at this table that is more inviting that bitchy Cassidy." I answered smiling.
Niall pov:
I hated seeing her flirt with Mason. But i knew they liked each other. She kissed his cheek and curled closer to him. i didn't get why she would like someone like him, when he could do anything, with her? Why doesn't she get that i am right here? She belongs with someone who can get to know her and love her along the way.
Serenity pov:
After school I had a volley ball tournament. I wasn’t excited. Who really gave a fuck about it though. Well I did. My dad was going too far with the whole sports thing. I hate to admit it though, I was pretty good. During gym I practiced hitting the ball to myself. Extra practice never hurt.
“Looking good.” Said Ed as he came up to me.
“Thanks.” I grinned as I held the ball under my hands.
“Ya I’m excited to come watch.” Said Niall.
“I’m even more excited to see you babe.” Said Mason as he put his arm around me.
“Yay!” I said in a fake voice.
Volleyball Tournament:
I saw all my friends in the stands. Mason ripped off his shirt that had the number 13 on it. That was my jersey number and he always wanted people to know about it. Ed was on his phone, texting all the people beside him instead of actually socializing. My dad gave me the death glare as he watched my every move.
I then hit the serve and the game started. The ball went back and forth until the score was HOME:26 VISITORS:30. My mom smiled while my dad didn’t. I waved back and gave them a thumbs up. Then I knew we had to win this or else my dad would beat me. The fear was in my eyes. Then the gym was silent as our team served. I then swung back to hit it back over and I fell into somebody. I then felt my body hit the ground. I looked around quickly and saw Niall.
“I am so sorry.” He said as he grabbed his camera and popcorn.
“No I’m sorry.” I said.
“Yo fool what ya think. Hitting on my girl ain’t cool.” Said Mason as he came up.
“It was my fault not his.” I said.
“Oh trying to defend the innocent loser.” He growled.
“You know what, sometimes maybe you need this.” I said as I took Niall’s pop and poured it on Mason’s head. It went all over him. Niall stood there in shock. The crowd all looked at us and then were back to focusing on the game. I got back on the court as I saw the score now, HOME:28 VISITORS: 30.
