Through the dark

Scarlett's P.O.V
I woke up feeling someone's hands behind my back , I couldn't turn back but I assumed it was Louis. Whoever was behind me was untying me from the chair. Once they were done I didn't dare do any stupid movements. I just slowly turned around and in front of me I saw Zayn. I looked my wrists , they were red I started to rub them. "Where are we?" I managed to say "I can only tell you that were two states up north". I was a bit surprised "Common ,Annabelle wants to see you" said Zayn. I followed him to the small kitchen. I saw Harry and Annabelle talking in the kitchen. "How you Sleep precious?" Asked Harry. I kept quiet and waited for my aunt to speak. She cleared her throat "We're gonna be staying here for a few days since we're in danger of being caught. They have already caught 2 of my groups that are in some other states !" She got furious and slammed the table , which made me scared for a second. "You are to follow all of our rules in this property! Is it clear !" She yelled "Yes" I said whispering "LOUDER" , "Yes" I said in a firm voice this time. Harry chuckled "I like them feisty" he said "You can have fun later right now there's more important stuff ". "Have Louis and Liam come back from the store?"asked Zayn , his voice ..... It sounded so friendly. "No I told those two to hurry with the fucking order!" Yelled Annabelle. My aunt looked over at me and made a look "ughh go over and take a shower that's the least you can do" , "I'll go and wait in with her "said Harry lifting up an eyebrow , which made me uncomfortable. "Harry stop being horny and shut the F up " said my aunt snapping , he chuckled in response. I went to the bathroom and got myself ready. I looked at myself in the mirror , all the mascara had flooded down my face and the beautiful curls had now become the same straight plain hair. I took a cold ,painful shower that seemed like eternity. I wrapped a towel against my body and then went straight to the room I was being kept in. When I went in I saw Louis right there laying some clothes and shoes on the bed. He turned around , I got scared "can you please get out?" I said holding to my towel tight , he glanced at me and smirked "Why the hell would I bother to stay?!" He then left towards the door and slammed it just before he completely left. I sighed and looked over at the bed. I went ahead and saw the clothing and shoes that were left there. It was just a couple of jeans, some tank tops and t shirts , 4 casual dresses that were a little above my knees ,some other necessary clothes, and some black boots that appeared to be doc martens. I got dressed in one of the dresses , a white one then fixed my hair. I went to the restroom and left my towel. As I was coming out into the hallway I heard quite a lovely melody. I peaked in the leaving room and found my aunt sleeping all by herself. I followed the melody back into the hallway, I then started to hear singing. It led me to the end of the hallway where there was a room. I got a little closer to the door to hear better. "Oh I would carry you over fire and water for your love ..." Their beautiful voices and the melody made by the guitar made me feel a sigh of relief through my body. "You tell me that you've heard is all in vain , but I can see your heart can love again . And I remember you laughing so lets just laugh again"....that voice so soft and loving. It sounded like Louis's voice .... I stood there for a few minutes, the song must've ended. I still kept listing but didn't hear anything. I took a step back then suddenly the door opened. Louis was right there , he chuckled then had a serious face on "Weren't you taught not to eavesdrop ?" , "Im sorry is just that y'all's music....it wonderful". Suddenly Harry came from behind Louis and pulled me in the room , we all got inside the room. Liam started laughing "So you like our music " he said , I simply nodded. We all took a seat down in the floor , I looked over and saw Zayn upset. "So that was y'all singing ?" I asked "Yeah" responded Louis roughly. Harry started to pull me close to him and kissing me "Let me go" I said tying not to scream "Harry leave her alone" said Zayn , Harry stopped and looked over at Zayn and smirked. "Why should I?", "Harry common lad , we didn't have any orders that umm told us to hurt her " , "ughhh Zayn shut up ! Annabelle told me I could have some fun with her!" Said Harry getting angry and away from me. "Guys shut up ! I think Annabelle's coming"said Liam freezing. We all froze and heard footsteps getting closer. Louis suddenly came and grabbed both of my arms and held me close and got mad. Suddenly the door swung open and my aunt walked in. "Ohhh what did you do now Scarlett ? "She said laughing "She umm she tried coming in the room " said Louis "I like it when y'all know what I want and do! Do you want me to take her of her now and show her a better lesson ?" Said Annabelle yawning "no that's okay we'll handle her you go ahead and rest" said Lou "Thanks that's why I love,love, LOVE y'all!!!"she said getting out the room and slamming the door. "Thanks lad you saved our guts" said Harry. Louis let go of me and threw me against the wall. "You better get out of here before we all get in trouble " said Zayn "Okay and I'm -I'm sorry I interrupted "I said , Zayn just smiled. I made my way out and went to my room. I stayed for a couple of hours with nothing to do. I heard the door opened "Time to come eat "said Liam. We went to the table,Louis,Harry, and Zayn were already there. "Is my aunt coming down to eat with us " I said "No she had an emergency , she had to go. She'll be gone for a couple of hours" responded Zayn. I had to take a seat next to Louis since it was the only one available. We had Mac n cheese , which Harry had cooked. "Mmm best food ever !!!" Said Louis "Well besides carrots!". "You really kicked it off Harry!" Said Liam stuffing some in his mouth. I looked across the table, Harry was smiling at me in this way that kind of scared me. I looked over at Louis , the dark clothes , his face , the look he gave me and the way he treated me. I had no idea who to be more afraid of Louis or Harry. Louis pushed his plate when he was done and looked at me "clean up the table" he said , I was about to say something but instead I kept quiet an cleaned up. Liam just sat there laughing and laughing "our maid!" Said Liam. I looked over at Zayn who hadn't talked at all, he looked upset . "Why don't we go outside near the lake " said Zayn clearing his throat. "Let's go!" Yelled Harry "what about Scarlett ?"asked Liam. I pretended to look away ignoring everything. "I can take care of her" said Harry coming back towards me. I backed away from him , Zayn saved me one again from Harry's horrifying acts. Zayn pushed Harry "Leave her alone Harry!" He said "Mmmmm okay fine" he said looking back at me and smiling suspiciously. "How can she escape if Annabelle took the boat with her to get to the other side and left it over there? I doubt Scarlett is gonna swim a LONG distance " said Louis looking at all of us "Yeahhhh" said Liam looking over at me laughing. We all went outside and chilled. Harry and Liam went to the lake and swam and Louis was sitting on the porch using his phone. I went over and sat at the edge of the lake. I took off my boots and socks and just let my feet touch the free flowing water. I took a deep breath and sighed , what was I going for now? Suddenly Zayn came and took a seat next to me. I looked at him not sure if I should be afraid "Don't be afraid love I'm not gonna hurt you " he said smiling , I smiled back. I sighed and looked down at him "Why aren't you going to hurt me like Harry and Louis?" I asked "A gentleman can't never hurt a girl " he said chuckling. "How long are we staying here?" I asked "I don't know , to be honest I'm not one of Annabelle's trusted members so I don't get around much ", "why aren't you one of her 'trusted' members?". Zayn stopped and looked down "Something.....just something" , "you don't seemed so please being in the gang", "I'm not I was forced to being in the gang. There's a backstory to all of this. Months , Months ago Harry went out to the Movies with Liam and Louis. This was back when the 5 of us were best mates and we liked to sing,write songs and all of that. Well that night when Louis,Harry,and Liam came out the movies they came across a woman , Annabelle. She told them If they wanted to win money an easy way, if they wanted more than what they had. Of course Louis , Liam, and Harry fell for it. Annabelle paid them straight $300 for just joining in the gang. When they came back they told us if we wanted to win money easily and in a 'good and straight' way. Me and my other mate said yeah. When we went to meet Annabelle I got a bad vive so did my other lad, Niall. The longer we were in the gang the more bad and dangerous stuff she made us do. Niall and I tried getting out the gang but we couldn't so we decided to escape. Niall was almost killed and I didn't make it so I'm still stuck here". I was shocked from everything that Zayn had just told me. "You know Niall ?!" I said "yeah, you ?" I nodded. "Niall and I are best friends , he's like my brother" , "really? Last time when we went to ruin you're wedding I saw him .... I was surprised , shocked I don't know ". I looked up at him wanting to smile "I'm sorry my aunt has gotten you wrapped up in all of this". "Is not you're fault is our fault for getting involved. Everything would be different , Louis would be that old fun immature kid, Liam would be that nice going and kind guy, Harry would be that fun and kind guy that would be nice to girls, and me ..... I would be the real me ". I was speechless , I could see Zayn had to much pain inside of him. I don't know but I had the courage to give him a hug . "Zayn if you want we could be friends..", he kindly smiled "thanks Scarlett ". The sun starting setting I put my shoes on , Zayn and I made our way inside. Soon the rest of the guys came inside. They all took shower and got cleaned up. It was getting dark, I looked outside and saw a light coming from the lake. I knew it was my aunt. I buried myself into the couch and sighed. Harry came out the hall and jumped to take a peek out the window. He grabbed me and started laughing "H-Harry ". He pulled me to the room and locked it. "Gotta enjoy you while I can" he said taking off his shirt. He threw me into the bed and started kissing me. "Get off me!" I screamed. He started to take off my dress and he started to unbutton his black jeans. He kissed my neck and then went on. I tried to push him off but it just made it worse....
