Change Me
Chapter 5
Elena was stood in the boy’s dorm, knocking on a certain boys door. She’d been stood there for about 10 minutes, knocking, pleading and asking him to open the door. It was clear he was either asleep or just ignoring her.
She had to come over early, to drop Harry’s books and uniform off at his dorm. Class started at 9 and it was about half 6 now.
“Harry. Open the door.”
“Please, Harry.”
“I have your stuff; you need to open the door.”
“I’ve been stood out here for 15 minutes, open the fucking door.” Elena hardly ever swore out loud, it wasn’t very lady-like as her mother would say. Her patience was wearing thin as the curly-haired boy was ignoring her pleas. Suddenly, the door swung open, revealing a very tired looking Harry.
“What the fuck do you want?!” He grumbled, rubbing his eyes. He was wearing checked pyjama bottoms and a plain black top that clung to his lean torso perfectly. His mop of curls cascading down his prominent cheekbones, defining his jaw-line. Elena often found herself in awe of his beauty; his foul personality had to ruin it, though.
“Here’s your uniform and books.” Elena says, handing Harry the items. He reluctantly takes them, throwing them onto the bed.
“Anything else?” He asks, leaning against the doorframe. He looked unimpressed, his eyes trailing up and down her body. Elena always felt uncomfortable when he did this, she felt naked under his gaze. “I hate that skirt.” He says, looking at the long material. It finished just below her knees, like it should. She didn’t want to break the uniform rules; she had to set an example.
“What’s wrong with it?” She asks, patting down the pleats on her grey skirt. He chuckles to himself, shaking his head.
“Nothing.” He mutters, looking down the hall. “So are you done?” He asks, looking her in the eyes. Elena features dropped as he said this, he really didn’t give a shit about her.
“Y-Yeah.” She stutters and he nods his head in response, slamming the door in her face. Humiliated was probably the word to describe how she felt. She tried to warm up to Harry, to show him kindness and to be there for him but he obviously didn’t want that. That’s the thing though, Elena kept telling herself that she was done with Harry, yet she’d always end up finding herself back, knocking on his door.

Here he was again, sat in Mrs. Greene’s office. She was perched on the edge of her desk as Harry sat in a chair in front of her, playing with his fingers.
“You do realise that stealing someone’s car is a crime, Mr. Styles?” She says, her cold stare on him.
“I borrowed the car.” Harry corrects her, a smirk now playing on his lips.
“Oh really? Then tell me, why did you leave it in the middle of nowhere?” She snaps, her nails digging into the desk.
“It got stuck. That’s not exactly my fault.” Harry sighs, looking around the room.
“And you dragged Miss. Miller into this. I’ll have to seriously re-consider her position as head girl.” Mrs. Greene states, walking round to her filing cabinet and pulling out a file.
“No. Elena did nothing wrong, I forced her to give me the keys. It’s my fault and I take full responsibility for what’s happened.” Harry says, standing up. He opens his mouth, trying to speak but nothing comes out. Did he hear himself right? Mrs. Greene’s lips form a triumphant smile.
“Very well, Mr. Styles. I’ll let you off this time but you will have to pay for the damages done to the car.” She says, walking over and handing Harry a sheet of paper. He looks over it, seeing that he had to pay over £300.00 for damages. He looks up at Mrs. Greene and she walks to the door, opening it. “That is all.”

It was lunch and Elena hadn’t seen Harry all day. She knew he was in the Head Mistress’ office and she was scared. Scare for him and herself as she was involved in the theft of Chase’s car. Chase was being surprisingly fine with it all; he never even brought it up. Consumed in her thoughts, Elena didn’t notice the curly-haired boy walking into the dining hall, all she heart was a deep chuckle, immediately turning around. Their gazes locked for a second, before Harry moved his gaze to the petite brunette that he had his arm around. She felt the pang of jealously in her chest again, watching the girl move in closer to Harry’s embrace. Elena didn’t know why she felt like this, she had a boyfriend but she couldn’t help but be drawn to Harry.
Succumbed to jealousy, she resorted in using Chase to get to Harry. She thought that maybe, he’s get jealous seeing her with Chase, just like she did seeing him with that girl. Elena wrapped his arm around her shoulder, leaning into him and pecking him on the cheek, turning around to see Harry making-out with the brunette girl. Elena felt her blood boil and grabbed Chase’s face, smashing her lips to his. Chase was shocked by the kiss, pulling away immediately.
“El, what are you doing?!” He asks, clearly in shock for Elena’s sudden actions.
“I-I just…” She trails off to see Harry looking at her, smirking. He chuckles to himself, shaking his head. He knew Elena was trying to make him jealous, he returned his attention back to the girl in his arms.
Elena quickly stood up, pushing her chair under the table and walked out. She needed fresh air to sort her head out. She walked past many students until she made her way to the back of the library building. Leaning against the wall, head in hands, she heard someone cough. Looking up, seeing the same boy who forced her out of that dining room in the first place.
Harry.
“Elena, what’s wrong?” Harry asks, walking up to her. She loved it when he called her Elena, no one else did. It was always El and she liked the fact that Harry used her full name.
“Nothing, I’m fine.” She replies, frustrated. He knew exactly why she was there; he just liked to mess with her.
“Oh, well, you owe me.” He smirks, getting closer and closer to the blonde until she was pressed against the wall, their bodies almost touching.
“I don’t owe you anything.” She spat and Harry smirks in response.
“Since I took the blame for everything and I’m paying a fine for what happened yesterday, I think you owe me a hell of a lot.” He murmurs, his face now inches from hers.
Elena’s breath hitches in her throat, his lips grazing over hers. She wanted to tell him to stop but she couldn’t, she wanted him. Suddenly, his lips crash to hers, his hands on her waist, pulling her closer to him. Her fingers run through his hair, fisting his curls as his hands travel down to the back of her thighs.
“Jump.” He murmurs and Elena complies, wrapping her legs around his waist. His lips leave hers, trailing down her neck as he pushed her against the cool brick wall. This was incredibly out of character for Elena, a couple of days ago she would have never even dreamed of doing something like this, but being with Harry sparked something inside of her. He starts to suck on Elena’s neck, earning a quite moan to escape from her lips. Elena could feel the blood rushing to the surface of her skin, it was going to leave a mark and she knew but right now she didn’t care. Harry traces over the fresh mark with his tongue, blowing over it and planting a kiss on her neck before putting Elena down. “See you later.” He smirks, walking back to the dinner hall.
Elena took a few moments to compose herself, patting down her skirt and shirt, making sure she looked presentable before walking back to the dinner hall and sitting down next to Chase.
“Where were you?” He asks, turning to face her. Elena’s gaze quickly lands on Harry, who licks his lips, then returning to the conversation he was previously having.
“I just needed some fresh air.” Elena replies, her mind and body still recovering from Harry’s effect.
