my saving grace

Chapter 6: When I reached our room my nerves started taking over. Do I really call him? What if he doesn't want to talk to me? What if he regretted his decision of giving me his number? A lot more what if's made their way in my head . I decided to take a shower to clear my mind. The warm water instantly helped to clear my mind. After my shower I decided I would leave him a message and then see what happens next. I quickly got my phone and entered his number To: Niall Hey it's Nadia :) Almost instantly my phone beeped From: Niall I thought you forgot about me love . or did you just get home? I quickly typed To: Niall No I didn't forget.... I just got back to my dorm. From: Niall Ohkayz :D so how are you liking London so far? To: Niall I haven't really seen London yet but I'm sure it's a beautiful city :) From: Niall What are you doing 2morrow? To: Niall Just unpacking . why'd u ask? From: Niall Be ready at 2 . you'll be going on a London tour with yours sincerely ;) WHAT! Oh my god aaaggghhh I'm happy dancing To: Niall You don't have to do this. I'm sure you have more important work to do. I'll be fine really. Even though I typed that I was hoping he would insist. Fingers crossed From: Niall Actually I don't. So be ready . I will be there by 1:45ish. N it's not open for discussion :p. To: Niall Okay :) I'll be ready. Thank you niall :) From: Niall Ur welcome:) it's getting late go to sleep now . I'll see you tomorrow. I checked the time it was 1:30 a.m. To: Niall Goodnight niall From:Niall Goodnight love. Sleep tight :) I just couldn't shake off the stupid grin from my face. I fell asleep with our conversation still running through my mind. (A/n: * means a dream or flash back is starting and the same symbol represents the end of the dream/flashback) *I was studying in my room for my finals when I heard my mom's screams I rushed out of my room and the scene in front of me was all too familiar and horrifying I realized I had unconsciously allowed myself to hope that he would stop all this at least till the baby was born but I was wrong. My mom was in the corner with her arms protectively thrown around her baby bump and my father was standing on top of her throwing punch after punch on her "stop you'll kill the baby" I screamed but to no avail he continued with his assault I wanted to run but I couldn't I wanted to shout again but I couldn't it was like I had no control over my body and I watched horror stuck as my mom finally became unconscious covered in her own blood and the blood of my unborn brother who never lived to see a single day because of my inability to protect him.*
