my saving grace

Chapter 5: "umm...yeah that's me" I answered. he looked at me waiting for me to continue but I didn't know what to say so I just raised my eyebrow asking him what he wanted from me " you gonna tell me your name love? Or do I have to guess it ?" He asked with a chuckle "oh sorry I'm Nadia O'Neill" I replied . a blush creeping in my cheeks at my idiocy. "You Irish?" He asked with interest " ah no actually I'm Indian but my father was of Irish descent . why did you ask?" I replied "oh your surname. It's an Irish one. Do you know what it means?" He asked me with a hint of humor "sorry I don't" I replied with another blush "I'll tell you...some other time" he told me giving me his signature smile . I blushed even deeper "oh okay" at least I knew he was planning on meeting me again ! A goofish smile crept to my lips on their own accord. Ugh I've never been so tounge tied in my entire life "so you came here all the way from India to attend this concert?" He asked to break the silence that had setteled in " no actually I'm starting my college at the London university this term. I didn't plan on coming here on my first day in London but my roommate had an extra ticket so here I am " I replied with a sheepish smile " I'm glad she did. Well I have to go now but I hope to see you again soon Nadia" he extended his arm towards me "me too" I shook his hand. When he left I noticed that he had placed his card in my hand which had some writing on it : " call me when you get home ;)" And below it was a number. I couldn't believe niall had just given me his no. I had butterflies doing cartwheels in my stomach . After the lads left we made our way to the stadium . the concert was better than my expectations . the guys goofed around between songs ,replied to tweets and were allaround their charming selves. After about 2 and a half hour they said their goodbyes and left the stage. It took us another hour to get out and to our car when finally we started driving Ami turned towards me and asked with a devilish smile " sooo I saw Niall was standing next to someone" she winked at me " what did he say ? Please tell me everything" she gushed like a child. "Okay okay calm down Ami I'll tell you everything" and so I recited my encounter to her . by the time I was finished we had reached the uni gate. " I'm so happy for you nia. I mean a million girls would die to get their hands on Niall's number and he gave it to you without you even asking for it! That's just wow!" "I know Ami I'm happy too. More than I can tell but can I just ask why we aren't moving?" And we weren't we were parked in front of the university gate. "Well actually while we were in the concert I got a message from Josh he wants me to come over do you mind?" Josh was Ami's boyfriend "No no it's fine I'll be fine you go on and enjoy yourself" I gave her a smile and got out of the car " bye nia " she yelled while backing away I waved at her and started towards our dorm room
