my saving grace

I was walking down the stairs with my mom when the voice echoed from above us " where do you think you are going" "Leaving you for good" my mom replied he laughed a cruel laugh and said in a clear ringing voice " you can never escape from me" .

I woke up with a start "it was a dream just a dream" it's been 3 years since that night but I still have nightmares. It was the night we left my father , the night we finally broke free. I looked to the other side of the bed and saw niall sleeping like a baby I am OK we are okay and with that thought in my mind I soon drifted off to sleep.
