"Hey, here they come." Niall said, pointing to Ariana and Alex.

We had called them to meet us at the park so we could all hang out.

"Hey babe." Niall kissed Ariana's cheek.

I wish Alex would let me do that to her. Eh- it's worth a try. I grabbed her waist and pulled her into me. She flinched as if I had punched her side. I kissed her cheek, and she didn't even move.

"Hey." I whisper.

"Hi." Her voice was hoarse.

"You okay?" I asked.

She nodded her head and smiled- but I could tell it was forced.

"Babe, please stop lying to me." I frowned.

"You didn't ask me anything to lie about." She said in complete monotone.

Alex just listened to Niall, Ariana, and my conversation. It was getting really hot- and Alex hasn't taken off her sweater. I'm still worried about her.

"Alex, aren't you hot?" I asked.

"No, I get cold easily." She shrugged.

"Alex. What are you hiding? You better not e doing that again!" Ariana yelled.

"No. I'm not hot Ariana. And plus- I'm not wearing a shirt under this." Alex glared.

"Then show me your wrists." Ariana smiled.

"No."

"Why? Are you still doing it!!?" Ariana yelled.

"No!" Alexandra teared up.

"THEN FUCKING GIVE ME YOUR WRISTS!" Ariana sobbed.

Alex ran off, in the direction of her house. Ariana fell to the ground and sobbed, making me and Niall bend down with her.

"Sh-she's doing it a-again!" Ariana sobbed.

"Doing what again?" I rubbed her back.

"She's cutting h-herself!" She sobbed.

My face went pale. Exactly what I feared. Tears ran down my cheeks as Ariana's words played over and over in my head.

"She's cutting herself!"
