Fast, Fierce, and Feisty

I was awaken by Chase’s kisses on my neck and jaw, I smile slightly and snuggle into his chest. He chuckles and pulls me closer to him and I peck his chest.
“Babe, look who decided to join us.” Chase laugh and I open one eyes to see Prancer laying on our legs. I immediately sit up and pull him into my chest
“Hey baby boy” I pet his fluffy head and he licks my face making me smile “I missed you too” I sing to him chuckling
“We need to get you home babe. You brother said you parents want to talk to you. They are waiting.” Chase tells me and I nod sighing.
“After you talk with your parents I’ll take you out for ice cream. How about it?” He offers
“That sounds nice..I never got to finish my milkshake” I frown and he chuckles. I go to the bathroom and change into some clothes I leave here for when I sleep over; after taking a shower with the shampoo I leave here.
“Chase!” I call inside the bathroom while putting up my hair
“yeah?” He pops his head in
“I just realised how much crap I have here and how much you have at my house.” I smile at him and he laughs
“Yeah. I guess thats what happened with young love huh?” He smirks and I nod
“Yeah, well I’m ready. I really hope they agree with everything.” I mumble
“They are your parents Esmee. I don’t think they will like the idea of you not being with them-” Chase starts making my heart hurt a bit “But, they love you. And they won’t force you into coming home.” Chase tells me softly calming me down. I smile at him and nod ;pulling me into a hug he kisses my head and I smile.
We head out shortly and I am nervous the whole way home, I plan on just telling them the truth. That I want to stay here and go to school, and that I will be living with Chase and Prancer in a on campus apartment.
When I get to the house I kiss Chase goodbye and walk inside. I texted Conner earlier to tell my parents and Dylan to be ready for a family meeting when I come home. So, when I walked in everyone was in the living room waiting.
“Esmee? What is this about are you okay?” My mom asks worried
“I’m fine mom. I just need to tell you guys something.” I mumble
“Okay go ahead honey.” My dad smiles
“Okay, well I’m not coming home with you guys” I say and the room becomes a shocked atmosphere. Excluding my brothers.
“WHAT?” My dad booms “What do you mean by you’re ‘not coming home with’ us!?” Oh crap, he is upset.
“Dad.Mom. I have been accepted into UCLA. On a full soccer scholarship. I’m going to stay here and finish my schooling. I love you guys but, I’m not ready to leave here just yet.” I tell them
My dad and mom smile at me visibly calming down.
“And you will be living in a dorm on campus?” My dad questions
“About that, I’m moving into an apartment on campus with Chase and Prancer.” I smile lightly at them and my mom smile at me in a loving way while my dad looks pained
“Oh god.” he mumbled
“I’m so happy for you guys...Who is prancer?” My mom asks
“Our dog. He is about 2 months old now.” I smile
“Dog? Wow you guys are really serious aren't you?” Dylan smiles at me
“Yeah.” I smile at the floor blushing
“We understand what you want hunny. And you better focus on school or I will hunt this Chase down for distracting you.” My dad hugs me.
I chuckle and nod, “Yeah I know. We are going for ice cream soon and I’ll be sure to tell him. OH! And I am going to visit every chance I get. But I will be bringing Chase and prancer each time.” I tell them after my mom joins the hug
“Okay. As long as you visit.” My mom tells me kissing my cheek.
We pull apart and i call Chase, “hello?” He answers
“Hey, Can you come pick me up.” I say into the phone
“Yeah, what happened ?are you staying?” He blurts out
“I’ll tell you while getting ice cream.” I smirk
“Okay..On my way.” he mumbles
I excuse myself before running upstairs and changing into a light blue sundress, I match a pair of flats and curl my hair. I apply makeup and put a flower crown on that was laced with baby blue and white plastic flowers. I smile in the mirror before running back downstairs to see Chase laughing with my parents. I smile at the sight and walk into the room.
“Hey you ready to go?” I ask smiling. His eyes light up and I wrap my arms around his torso.
“Yeah I was just talking to your parents about- well that doesn’t matter..Lets go.” he rushes me out and I shout a goodbye to my parents
“Hey, slow down!” I giggle as Chase drags me to his car, He ignores my complaining and opens the passenger door for me. I climb in and he shuts my door running around the car and getting in.
“You look beautiful By the way” he kisses my cheek and I smile lovingly at him
“What were you talking about with my parents?” I ask curiously
“I was just telling them I was taking you somewhere after school tomorrow.” he tells me
“Oh really?” I question “Where?”
“That’s a surprise” he tells me
“Oh” I frown
“Don’t frown, you’ll love it.” He promises
“Okay okay fine. Are we almost there?” I question
“Yeah we are here.” He slows down the car and parks in front of a cute ice cream Cafe
We walk inside hand in hand talking about what we would order.
When we get inside the girl at the counter showed no shame in checking out my boyfriend.
“Hello, What would you like handsome?” She purrs
“Um-I would like a large chocolate brownie with fudge.” Chase lists, his eyes light up “Make that extra fudge.” He smiles
“Oh and your...friend?” she glares at me
“My girlfriend would like a large strawberry milkshake with whipped cream and two cherries on top.” he orders for me and pulls me into his side
“Awe you remember” I smile at him and he kisses the side of my head
“You order it every time, how could I forget Esmee.” he chuckles
“That will be 6.98” The girl interrupts and I roll my eyes, Chase pays and we go to sit by the window.
“I love you.” Chase tells me randomly, I smile at him and he holds my hand over the table. “So, the news?” he asks
“Oh! I’m staying.” I say noncelauntly say, I look up at Chase who is smiling so widely I think he would faint. He stands up and pulls me into a giant hug twirling me around.
“We are going to live together! And go to school together and we can finally take care of Prancer properly.” he listed with a giant smile
“Chase!” I laugh “We need to look for part time jobs” i tell him
“Ugh yeah.” he sets me down and I sip on my drink happily
“I actually have an idea…” I mumble softly
“What is that, babe?” he asks
“Well, I was thinking about performing at that cafe...our cafe. They are holding auditions for live entertainment every monday, wednesday,friday, and saturday nights.” I explain “And I saw a cute bakery hiring, maybe I can get a day job there…” I add on
“Whoa slow down there.” He chuckles “I already got a nice job at my uncles auto shop, it pays well, and I would love some hands on learning..” he smiles and I look at him shocked
“When?” I question
“Just last night. I didn’t tell you because It never came up...it didn’t want to make you feel pressured about living with me.” He sighs and I frown standing up moving to sit beside him. I intertwine our fingures and lean my head on his shoulder.
“Thank you for caring. I wouldn’t back out.” I tell him
“I know that now..” after a pregnant pause he says,”just think...we only have a few weeks left before graduation.” He mumbles and I smile at him
“Yeah...just think..a year ago I was in Manchester..” I sigh “and now i’m in the United States! “ I exlaim sipping on my drink
“We need to go.” Chase mumbles and I frown confused
“Why?” I question
“Well, I have a project to finish up and then I have to work on your...surprise.” He smirks at me as we get up.
“Oh, well I am going to the audition after I apply at the bakery.” I tell him
“Okay cool” He tells me. And then we silently drive back to my house. Man do I love this boy.
