Dancing Down the Halls
Chapter Three
After our kiss, Louis and I walk back to my house and hang out there. We were having a thumb war when Joey asked, “Hey Jenna when were we supposed to leave again?”. My eyes go wide and I rush to my room while yelling, “Shit! In like ten minutes. I have to get ready.”. I hear Louis ask, “Where do you have to go?”. I come out of my bathroom and see Lou on my bed patiently waiting for my answer. “Joey and I are in a dance academy and we have practice today that I forgot about. God dammit!” I say. He laughs and I give him a look. “Need help with something?” he says. “Try to find my left shoe please.” I say while pointing to my missing shoes's twin. “On it.” he says and I finish getting ready. “Found your shoe!” Lou yells. He hands it to me and we go downstairs to a waiting Joey. “Let's go!” he says. We all rush out of the house and go on our way to the dance hall. When we get there, we run into Hanna and she says, “Thank god you're here Jenna! Anna wants us to practice our dance in front of everyone.”. I just about faint and then ask, “Why is she making us do this?”. She just shrugs her shoulders and drags me out to our positions. “Start the music!” the instructor yells. Our song, Whenever, Wherever by Shakira, starts and Hanna and I move our hips. Out in the corner of my eye, I see Lou staring at my smiling. I smile to myself as the song ends and we get a round of applause. “Okay girls that was great. Everyone let's take a twenty minute break and then go through more dances.” our instructor says. With that Hanna and I walk over to Louis and Joey, and I take a big gulp from my water bottle. He just smiles at me like an idiot. “Why are you so smiley” I ask already knowing why. “Because that was great and you're a beautiful dancer.” he replies. I blush and sit next to him. He puts his hand on my knee and kisses my cheek.
Louis's POV
Hanna gave us a weird look and wouldn't look away. Just then a girl came and took Jenna with her and I watch her walk away. I turn my head back to Hanna and she says,” You guys started dating didn't you?”. I just give her a look and Joey says “Busted.”. Instead of her cussing me out she just squeals and hugs me. “FINALLY!! You two needed to get to get together.” she says. She lets go of me and runs of to Jenna and the girl from earlier. Jenna looks back at me and smiles. I smile back and give myself a mental pat on the back for getting the girl of my dreams.
Jenna's POV
About twenty minutes has past and Anna calls us back for practice. “Okay guys our next routine is Jenna and Jack. You two start streching.” she says. I sigh. I didn't like Jack because of the fact that he was a tool and had a major crush on me. I walk over to Louis and Joey and slump down. “What's wrong babe?” Lou asks. “I have to dance with Jack and I hate him. He's a total tool and he has a major crush on me.” I tell him. “Well I will deal with him if anything happens.”Louis says. I thank him and walk over to where Jack is. “Hey there buttercup. You look hot today.” he says. Ugh his voice makes me cringe. I roll my eyes as we take our positions. We were doing a ballroom dance with the song “Fall for You” by Secondhand Serenade. The song starts and we begin dancing around the room. Everything is fine until about halfway through the song which is when Jack moved his hand down and squeezed my ass. I immediately stop dancing and slap him across the face. This got people's attention. “DON'T YOU EVER TOUCH ME AGAIN YOU FUCKING JACKASS! LET'S GET THIS STRAIGHT I WILL NEVER BE WITH YOU!” I scream. Then I feel someone's hand on my shoulder. I look up and see Louis fuming. “Jenna babe are you okay?” he asks never losing his glare at Jack. Before I could answer Jack interrupts and says, “And who are you to be asking her that?”. “I'm her boyfriend.” Louis says. Jack just looks at him then walks away. Louis then looks at me and asks again, “Jenna are you okay?”. I nod and ask if we can just go home. He nods and walks me out. Before we get into the car he stops and turns me around. Before I can say anything his lips are on mine, giving me the most passionate kiss in my life. We pull away and smile at each other. “I love you so much Jenna.” Louis says his eyes never leaving mine. I smile and say, “I love you too Lou.”.
