Homecoming
Chapter One
I'm in my kitchen listening to Last First Kiss when there is a knock on my door. I look into the peephole and squeal as I open the door and engulfed into a huge hug. “Louis! I thought you weren't coming home for a couple days?” I tell him. “Well I couldn't wait to see my best friend and hang out with her.”. He says. I let him in and sit next to him on the couch. “So whatcha wanna do?” I ask him. “Let's go to the beach and then get something to eat.” He suggests. “Okay. Let me go get changed. Do you have your swimsuit?” I say. He nods and heads towards the kitchen. I chuckle a little and head upstairs to my room. I'm looking for my tankini and I can't find it. Great I have to wear my red bikini. I quickly change, put my hair into a messy bun and head downstairs to a waiting Louis in his swimming trunks with no shirt on looking at the window. The boy had some abs. I caught myself staring for too long and looked away. I'll admit it that I had a little bit of a crush on him but I doubt that he has feelings for me. “Okay let's go.” I said pulling him from his thoughts. He looked at me and did a double take. He never did that before.
Louis's POV
I went to the kitchen to get a drink while Jenna went upstairs to get changed. I took off my shirt and my pants to uncover my swimming trunks. I sat down on the couch and looked down at my hands. “Okay let's go.” Jenna said. I look at her and did a double take. She didn't look like the girl I was best friends with. She turned into a beautiful young woman that gave me butterflies in my stomach. “Let's go before all the good spots are taken.” she says. I'm broken from my trance and walk behind her out the door towards the beach.
Jenna's POV
Why was Louis looking at me like that? I push it aside and rush to the beach. When we get there I throw my stuff in a spot and run towards the water. I was completely in love with the water. Ever since I saw the Little Mermaid I was in love. I dive in and come back up with my hair undone out of it's bun. I start laughing and spinning around. I look back and see Lou staring at me with a smile on his face. I can't help but smile and leap back into the water to become the little fishy I always wanted to be.
Louis's POV
When we get to the beach, Jenna just runs immediately to the water. I chuckle and set my stuff down where her stuff is. I sit down just as she hits the water. She comes back up and twirls around, hair flying everywhere. The sun sparkles on her body making her absolutely breathtaking. I smile as she looks back at me and falls into the water. My heart skips a beat and I feel like I'm on cloud nine. I- I think I'm in love with her. Wait second now. What am I saying? I couldn't be in love with my best friend...could I?
