Ch.1~ The Song

Hi I'm Rebecca Alexandra Parker. I was born July 5th 1994 in Brooklyn, New York. I'm 20 years old.
I have 2 siblings John, who is 23 and Alexa who is 17.
Ever since I was little I had this thing for music because my dad use to sing all the time.
He could play any instrument you could think of. He was one of those people I looked up to until he got killed in a car crash when I was 10.
When he past my and family's life fell apart. My mom started to be depressed and stuff.
But one thing kept this family together it was music.
When I met my 4 best friends we all had that powerful connection with music that's how we for our singing group 'Myracle' when we were middle school and we began to post videos on YouTube singing covers and songs we written.
We all had different personalities, Ana was quiet but outrageous, Hayden was crazy but cool, Jessica was chilled and laid back but was energetic, and Larissa was caring and positive.
But all of us together make a great hell of a band..

Beep Beep Beep Beep
I heard my alarm clock waking me from my slumber. I slowly got up from my bed and my feet found the floor and I slipped my feet in my slippers and walked into the bathroom.
I looked in the mirror and I looked a mess. I scratched my hair before I pulled the pony tail that I had in my hair and walked over to the shower and turned it on and let it warm up while I took my pajamas off and grabbed my towel and stuff and put it on the stand that was in the bathroom and hopped in the shower.
I washed myself for 10 minutes and I washed my hair and got out.
I put my robe on and went to brush my teeth and blow dry my hair and lightly curling it making it wavy like usual.
I walked out the bathroom and went to my closet and went to change into a black and gray long sleeve shirt with ripped up jeans and put on some black low top converse.
Outfit
After I got dress, I grabbed my bag off my dresser and I headed downstairs.
When I got down stairs I walked into the kitchen and seen Lexi and John sitting at the table while my mom was cooking breakfast.
"Morning," I said sitting at the table.
"Morning Sweetie," My mom said "How did you sleep?"
"Not good, I was up writing a new song," I said combing fingers through my hair tiredly.
"Oh, that's why I heard all that guitar strumming until 3 O'clock in the morning," Lexi said rolling her eyes.
"Oh hush child, your sister is just like your father, always singing and playing that guitar," My mom said making my brother and I giggle and my sister began to pout.
Even though she is 17 years old, she still acts like a child half of the time.
"So what's it called?" Lexi asked and I looked at her confused.
"What?"
"The song," she said.
"Oh, What about us," I said.
"What's it about?" John asked.
"It's about life," I replied looking down and playing with my fingers nervously.
"What do you mean life?"he questions.
"Like best friends, boys, and stuff," I mumbled because I know how my brother gets about boys.
"Becky, what do you mean boys?” he looked at me weird and suspicious.
“John it’s nothing,” I sighed “I’m 20 years old, I only had one boyfriend and that was in the 10th grade.”
“Yeah and he broke your heart,” he said with a frown because the memory of me crying over a boy that was a fucking prick.
“John, I’m growing up and I will be writing songs about boys if you like it or not,” I said rolling my eyes.
“And you will always be my little sister, if you like it or not,” he joked and I chuckled.
“Okay kids it’s time to eat,” My mom said bringing our food to the table. Pancakes and Bacon.
“Thanks mom,” we said in unison and we began to eat.
“You’re welcome,” She said coming to the table with her food and began to eat it.
“John can you take me to school today?” Lexi asked my brother before taking a bit of her food.
“No Alexa, I can’t, I’m going apartment hunting today,” John answered before eating again as well.
“Okay then,” Lexi said “Becky, can you take me then?”
"Sure, I will take you on my way to meet the girls,” I said finishing up my food.
“Thanks Beck, you’re the best,” She said with a warm smile.
“You’re always welcome little sis,”

After I took Alexa to school I headed over to the diner where the girls and I work at.
I walked inside the diner and I looked around for the girls and I spotted them at the table at the center of the diner.
I walked over to the table where they were sitting and I between Ana and Hayden.
“Hey girls,”
“Hey Becca,” They all said.
“Sorry I was late, I had to take my sister to school because John made the excuse saying he was getting an apartment and moving out,” I apologized.
“It’s fine, we just were getting started with the meeting anyway,” Ana said.
"So girls," Jessie started "I have been on twitter and our fans have been tweeting us to do another video, and I told them we will have one done Wednesday."
"What!" Ana, Hayden,and Larissa screamed.
"What?" Jessie looked confused.
"We haven't wrote anything yet Jess," Ana said.
"Yeah, how are we going to write a song and make a video in 2 days?" Hayden panicked.
And at that the girls were arguing and freaking out.
"GIRLS!" I shouted. no response.
"GIRLS!!" I shouted again and they all stopped and looked at me "I have a song."
"What song?" They said in confusion.
"It's a song I wrote," I said before taking out my song writing book "I have been writing these for a while but this is the one I think we can sing."
I turned to the page to 'What about us' and showed them the song.

"Yeah how did you come up with this?" Larissa asked astonished.
"I took the things from my life , like boys, my best friends, and put them in a song, " I explained.
"This is perfect, I can make dance routine for the song," Jessie said excitedly.
"Oh yeah and I can asked my brother make beats for the song," Hayden said and we all agreed.
This is going to be great!
