Call It a Dare

“Come on. Let’s go. It’s going to be fuuunnn.” My friend slurred in my ear and I rolled my eyes at her, forcing an assuring smile.
“Heather. Trust me, it’s not going to be worth it. You are drunk, and we can not go outside anyways. It’s twelve degrees outside, and believe it or not, I don’t want to freeze.” I shook my head and she scowled.
“Who pissed in your cheerios this morning? You’re supposed to be the designated driver Adele! You’re supposed to be the sweet one and do what I want!” She smiled at herself and I laughed at her. “Pwease Adele. I won’t ask for anything else tonight.”
She pulled on my arm until she fell to the ground and I smiled. “Fine. But I am not going inside.”
“But that’s where all the guys are! And it’s a bar!” She squealed in my ear and I shook my head.
“Boys will be boys, and we all know that boys are assholes.” I crossed my arms and she sighed.
“Someone sounds a little aggravated that her boyfriend broke up with her. Don’t be such a sour pus Adele. Do something fun.” She made me a little angry, but I pursued towards the door and sighed.

She looked at me and nodded. And as soon as we walked outside, she saw a group of boys and walked over to them, pressing her breasts up so they were more visible than they should’ve been.

“Heather!” I yelled and she looked over her shoulder and smiled.
“Don’t worry hun. I’ll be fine.” She laughed and picked up her step.

I shook my head and chewed on my lip, debating whether or not I should follow her. But she’s a grown woman, she can take care of herself.
Therefore, I am going home. If she’s going to put her attention on stupid boys, I am going home.

I walked towards the street lamp so I could see better, and I stopped when a white van pulled up beside me. My mother always told me to avoid white vans, so I tensed where I stood. In fact, I was too worried to even move.
Then the driver’s window rolled down and the male in the seat had white hair, and I tensed again.

“What’s a girl like you doing out here all alone?” His Australian accent made me wonder, and I smiled forcefully.
“Well I’m not out for you that’s for sure.” I snapped and he arched his jaw.
“I like the mean ones. The mean ones know how to be good when told.” He just twisted his words. That makes no sense whatsoever.
“Well I am not mean, stretch. And I don’t need to be talking to you.” I walked ahead and let out a giant breath that was resting on my throat.

But I slowed when I realized, that jackass was following me.
“Who the hell do you think you are?!” I yelled, turning towards the van that was behind me.
Then he got out of the van and a male in the back of it jumped to the driver’s side.
“You know cher, I’ve had a long day. And I just want to make this fast.” The closer he got to me, the farther my fright grew.
“Well I would like to go home, and I’m not going to let you stop me. You don’t even know who I am.” I shook my head and went to walk ahead but a grabbed my arm so roughly and so smoothly that I almost lost my balance when he pulled me into him.
“The only place you’re going is with me.” His smile made me whimper and it only made his smile bigger. “Keep on making those noises and I just might let you sit in the front.”
“You think I’m getting in that van? I’d rather burn in hell before I get into that van.” I tried to pull from his grip but he tightened it, wrapping a piece of duct tape around my wrists.
“Very well.” He smirked and I went to scream, but he put a piece of tape over my mouth and threw me over his shoulder.
When he slung open the door of the van, I saw two more girls and I began to struggle from his shoulder. Then he threw me into the van and ripped the tape off of my mouth.
“Welcome to hell.” He said before closing the door in my face.
