You're All I Need
Chapter 5
Clara's PoV
-A-are you serious?
-Yes, as serious I can be.
-I'm speechless.
-I understand. How soon can you come to my office?
-R-right now I guess.
-Good, do you know where the office is?
-I think I do.
-Good. See you then. Bye.
-Bye.
I can't believe it. We just won two backstage passes.
-Who was it? Lacelyn asked.
-Just this lady I know. I have to go but I'll be back very soon, okay?
-Okay, don't be for long.
-I won't.
I turned and walked to the front door. I picked my coat and opened the door. Mom was outside locking her car.
-Oh hey Clara! Where are you going?
-Just going to meet an old friend of mine. I'll be back soon.
-Do you need the car?
I had a driving license but I just didn't drive because we only had one car. We couldn't afford a car only for me.
-Uh, yeah. I'll take it if you don't need it.
-Of course, take it.
Mom threw me the keys and I hopped into the car. I started the car and drove out of the garage. I tried to remember the way to the office. It wasn't that far away. As I was driving, I thought how lucky me and Lacelyn were. This was the first time they had this kind of competition. Out of six million just we won. I still can't believe it. After five minutes of driving I arrived to the office. I parked my car and stepped out. The warm summer wind hit my face. I locked the car and walked inside the huge building. In the side there was a sign what said: "Modest! Management". Some ladies walked around and talked to each other. I walked to a desk in the lobby. Some lady was sitting behind it and writing something.
-Hello, I was told to come here.
-Hello! You must be Clara! Mrs. Barkley is waiting for you. Office 17, go straight in.
-Okay. Thank you.
-You're welcome.
I walked to the elevator and pressed the button. When the doors opened I stepped in and pressed a button what said "offices 10-17". Apparently there were a hundred offices. When the elevator got to the floor I needed to go, I stepped out and gasped. The hallway was full of signed t-shirts and photos. Of course they all were photos of One Direction. I walked through the hallway trying to find office 17, when I finally found it. I knocked on the door.
-Come in!
I opened the door and saw a young woman sit behind her desk.
-Hello! You must be Clara?
-Yes.
-Have a seat, please.
She pointed on the chair in front of the desk. I sat down.
-I'm Juliet Barkley, and I work here at the Modest! Management. I'm also the keeper of the competition what you won.
-I still can't believe it.
-I know. Are you a directioner?
-Kind of, yeah. I entered because my sister is their biggest fan. I wanted to win them for her.
-That's sweet. What's your sister's name?
-Lacelyn Parker.
-Okay. What are your seats in the concert? You are coming, right? Because if your not, you can't have the passes.
-They were front row, section A I think. Can you look them up?
-Yes, let's see.
She opened her computer.
-First row, section A.....Ah, here it is! Yes, this says that the tickets were bought by Clara Parker, which means that you get the passes.
She smiled and I smiled back.
-Would you like to get them now?
-Yea, they will be my sisters birthday present.
-When is her birthday?
-Next week.
She nodded and handed me two passes.
-There, I'll see you next month! I'll be there to guide you to the right place.
-Okay, thanks. Bye.
-Bye!
I closed the door as I walked out of the room.
Notes
Hi again you awesome bunch!
How long chapters do you like? I think this one was kinda long. And I also would like some suggestions for what would Clara and Lacelyn look like, so I could put them as characters on the front page of this story. By the way, Clara is 19, and Lacelyn is 17. I really need some suggestions, because I can't find any good photos of what they would look like. 'Till the next chapter, see ya!
