*Susan’s POV (In the Evening)

Paris. Is. Amazing! I’ve been living here for over a month now and I can say for certain that I have fallen in love with the city of love. There is so much to do and see and I haven’t even seen half the city yet. Ever since the first night after the tour day, I’ve been spending half my time doing the ballet course and the other half wandering Paris with Liam and his friend Danielle. I have to admit that Danielle seems like more of a tagalong, but Liam originally came here with her and I don’t want him to completely ditch her. Her and I are actually becoming good friends and are bonding over dance.

Every day we’ve been here, it’s always been the three of us hanging out, and I really like that. It’s just that I want to get the chance to spend time with Liam alone. As I’m with him more, my fondness for him grows. I feel like something could develop with us, but I’ll never know if I can’t get him alone.

Right now, we’re all at dinner and that’s seriously all I can think about. I’ve gotta say something. “Um Danielle, I know it’s probably not my place but do you think that I could maybe spend the evening with Liam? I just feel like I don’t really know him that well yet.”

She hesitates, then says “Yeah no problem. I have to practice for class tomorrow anyway. You guys have fun.” Liam says, “Thanks, Dani. I feel like I need to get to know Susan as well.” with a smile that’s to die for. We finish eating and then Danielle leaves to go back to the hotel. “So. What do you wanna do tonight?” I ask. “I know one place where we haven’t been yet where I’ve been dying to take you. But I wanted it to just be us, I just didn’t know how to tell Dani. Thanks by the way.” he says.

“Don’t mention it. So where is this place exactly?” With a smile he says “The beach, of course. We’ll get there just in time to see the sun set on the horizon.” This is a dream. “Oh my gosh! That’s…romantic.” I say blushing slightly. “Indeed, love. That is the point. Let’s go!” he says grabbing my hand and running me out of the restaurant.

We run all the way to this beach he was talking about. By the time we get there, we’re both out of breath and just collapse on the sand. We start laughing hysterically at how out of shape we are and especially me since I dance all the time and should have better endurance.

Snapping out of our joking, I see the horizon over the water. “Whoa…that is something else.” I say standing up walking towards the shore. “No, you’re something else!” Liam says while he hugs me from behind and lifts me, spinning me around. I let out a squeal and he puts me down.

“Your laugh is adorable. C’mon, let’s walk.” He says holding out his hand. We walk on the shore, and just get to know each other. I come to find out he loves singing and he can play a little guitar and piano, also he’s from England! Wolverhampton to be exact.

The sun is setting on the water at this point and I notice it when we stop for a minute. “I’ve never seen a sunset as stunning as this one.” “It is pretty amazing. I can’t think of a better place to ask you.” he says. “Ask me what?...” He takes both my hands and says this:

“Susan, I know we haven’t known each other for that long and that we literally just got to know each other a little tonight. However, regardless of the time, I do know that you are a fantastic girl. You have such passion and intelligence, not to mention beauty. There’s undeniable chemistry between us and I know you feel it too. So…will you go out with me?”

I usually don’t do things like this, but this one time, I decide to take a leap of faith. “Yes…but first, what the heck is your last name?!” Yeah we don’t know each other’s last names, but in my defense…oh never mind I don’t have an excuse. But he’s just so gosh-darn cute! I get distracted…

“Payne. What’s yours?” “Chavez. Now I will go out with you!” I exclaim. “All right!” Liam Payne shouts tossing me in the air. He catches me bridal style and he sets me down on his lap. “This summer is going to be a blast.” He says looking down at me. “I know it will.” I say up to him. Now we just have to break the news to Danielle...
