Broken Love
Chapter 15
Rachel's P.O.V.
I had spent a while with Emily, discussing Luke. All she admitted was that there was a chance she liked him, though to me it was clear she liked him much more than she let on.
When I left I headed out to Burger King with Calum to get some chips. I was shoving the crown on his head as he ate, giggling when I pulled back and saw how silly he looked with it on.
"Wow, you look good. Prince Calum, ey?" I teased. He rolled his eyes, quickly placing the other crown on my own. "There we go" he grinned, leaning back a little to see how it looked.
"Now you can be my princess" he added, his hand sliding down from the crown to tuck a stray piece of hair behind my ear. I felt myself tense ever so slightly. Normally I wouldn't think anything of it but Luke's words were ringing in my head.
Was this Calum making a move on me?
I quickly stood up, out of his grip. Perhaps he was making a move on me but right now I didn't want to find out.
Calum raised an eyebrow at me and I gave him a fake smile in return. "Just gonna get a refill, You want anything?" I asked quickly.
He shook his head. "No thanks Rach" he replied, looking at me rather curiously.
I headed up towards the counter to get my drink, still a flustered with what had just happened. So much so that I didn't pay much attention to where I was going and crashed right into someone, knocking myself to the ground.
"Oh my god! I'm so sorry!" I had to blink a few times before I looked up catching the eye of a rather concerned, good-looking guy.
He held out a hand for me to help me up and I took it carefully letting him pull me to my feet.
"Don't be silly, it's my fault. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going" I replied quickly.
"Are you alright?" he asked, ignoring what I had said.
"Yeah, of course. I'm fine.." I assured him, feeling guilty at his worried expression.
"Rach, you okay?" I turned quickly to find C alum directly behind me.
"I'm fine Calum, I fall all the time" I replied and he grinned in response.
"Again, I'm so sorry. I-" the guy began but I cut him off. "It's my fault, seriously. I was coming for a refill and just got distracted" I explained.
He nodded. "Well look at least let me get you the refill" he offered. I shrugged in agreeance
"I'm Harry by the way" he added aas we walked towards the counter.
"Do you go to school around here?" I questioned. He didn't look much older than me so perhaps he went to school.
He shook his head.
"No, no. I just got here actually" he admitted.
"Oh really? What brings you to the area?" I asked. He got me my refill before answering.
"I'm here to find an old friend of mine"
