You changed me

*One month later*

Tessa's P.O.V.

I wake up in the morning feeling refreshed. I get out of bed and jump into the shower. I go over to my bed to see that my phone is not charged.

"Bloody fucking hell. I plugged this god dammed thing in last night before I fell asleep." I yell out in frustration.

I go to my closet and pull out a pair of skinny jeans and one of my many Pink Floyd t-shirts and grab one of the colorful thousand pairs of converse and slip them on my feet. I go to my mirror in the bathroom and do minimal make-up and blow dry my hair and straighten it and pull it back in a really lose ponytail. I open the window to see how cold the October weather is. I go to the closet again and decide to bring a sweatshirt just in case I get too cold.

Yes it's October and Halloween was last weekend and Niall and I celebrated by going out to a party at one of the boys houses. I really didn't hang out with Niall at the party he was with the boys and I was with Rachel. She had just moved there and I wanted to be friendly and we talked for hours before I walked home. Long story short I left Niall with the boys and haven't seen him since yesterday. He seemed fine around me so I didn't suspect anything.

I finish getting ready and go down stairs get my keys and go to my car I left a little too early so I'm going to stop at Starbucks and get some coffee and something for breakfast.

"Hi welcome to Starbucks what's can I get you?" The woman behind the counter says.

"Just a regular iced coffee please."

"Yes. Right away. Your name please." She asks.

"Tessa"

"Alright. Thank you." She tells me.

I go sit down in a booth in the small corner.

I sit there for a few minutes and someone new comes into the store. He looks my age. He's by all means not cute. He looks as if he could put someone in line of he needed to. He also looked like he was really down to earth too. He looked over at me and I nodded. I smiled to be friendly and then he looked at me with a face that seemed like he had knew who I was.

He ordered then walked over to me. He introduced himself to me as Hayden. He told me that he went to our school and that he and Niall had a few classes together and they talked somewhat. He said that Niall would always talk about me during class to everyone. He had also said that lately in class Niall would be talking to some girl named Sadie. He said that his grade in that class was going down because of her.
I didn't want to admit that I was jealous of her. I didn't want him to now that I knew tho.

I wanted to keep in touch with Hayden just to see if anything more happens. It could be that this so called 'Sadie' girl was his friend. Maybe she offered him help in the class because he was always gabbing about me. Maybe they were more than friends I just didn't want myself to think anymore about it. We talked for a few more minutes before we had to leave for school. Apparently Hayden was dating a girl named Sam. He said that I should get to know her because she was in a few of my classes and he thought that we would become good friends because we had a lot in common.

We said our goodbyes and then I headed out to my car. My mind running a million miles per hour I didn't want to be bothered. I made it to the school and parked my car in the parking lot. I grabbed my stuff I needed for school got out and slammed the door a little pissed off. I walked into the school and headed right to my locker. I didn't bother to wait up for Niall in my usual spot so I just left him. I punched in my code and and grabbed what I needed and started on my way to class. I hear Niall yelling my name but I ignore him and keep walking. He runs to catch up with me and once he does he grabs my arm and turns me around.

"Tessa haven't you been hearing me call you?" He asks.

"Yes."

"Then why are you ignoring me?"

"Because. I was talking to someone today before I came to school and it seems that you have found someone better than me!" I yell quietly.

"Tessa trust me nothing is going on between us now."

"NOW!?" I scream fed up now.

"Tessa please clam down and listen to me."

"No. I don't want to hear it. Save it. Why don't you go talk to her since there was something going on between you two." I say turning around and walking away pulling myself out of his grip.

"Tessa please."

I ignore him and walk past the class which was now staring at us because of my yelling. I walk past the office and straight out to my car. Pissed off I rummage through my bag to find my keys and unlock the car. I unlock the car and get in I start the engine and switch into drive. I start driving and don't know or care where I'm going. Before I know it I'm driving and my phone starts going off. I don't think twice before I try to go through my bag to find it. I keep switching between thoughts about him and that Sadie bitch. While still going through my bad my fingertips hit a cold surface and I grab it and with my shaky hands I drop it.
Thoughts crossing my mind I absentmindedly look away from the road and pick it up. The last thing I remember is the smell of something burning and my one leg hurting really bad and side burning.

Niall's P.O.V

"No. I don't want to hear it. Save it. Why don't you go talk to her since there was something going on between you two." She says turning around and walking away pulling myself out of my grip.

"Tessa please." I beg.

She ignores me and walks straight past me to her car. I feel like such an ass for even trying to keep what happened between me and Sadie a secret. I should've just came out and told her that we did something but it was because I was drunk and I thought it was her. I have to go after her but class is about to start. I make a decision to that if I ever wanted to see her again that I needed to follow her whether she likes it or not. After I get to the bathroom I start texting and calling her.

I'm driving for a little bit before I come across a huge truck and what seems to look like a car.

"Omg!" I scream out.

I pull over to the side of the road and I start to get closer to the accident when I notice that small car looking very familiar. It looks a lot like..

"TESSA!" I scream out.

I sprint over to her car. I see her lying there. Immediately I grab my phone out of my pocket and dial 911.
"Hello this is 911 what is your emergency?"

"Um... Yeah.. There is an accident on 23rd street. Please send and ambulance. Please hurry my girlfriend is in there."

"Okay please stay on the phone with me. Can you look in the accident to see if the car is on?"

"Yes it is."

"Okay turn the car off."

"Alright"

"Now I want you to check if your girlfriend is conscious."

"Idk I can't tell. She doesn't look like she is in the best position where she is laying. I think she is breathing."

"Alright. Are you able to get to the door and open it?"

"Um... Yeah."

"Okay now you need to listen to me. I want you to open the door but you cannot stop talking to me if you do her life could be in danger. No matter how bad she looks you need to listen to me. Prepare yourself for the worst."

"Okay..." My voice says shakily.

"Alright. I need you to tell me if she looks okay."

I don't know if I will be able to do anything. I'm trying to prepare myself for the worst but I really feel like that I won't be able to do anything without her.

"Sr. Are you there?" The lady asks that's on the phone.

"Yes. Sorry I'm getting there one second."

I peer into the open door and I immediately start crying. She is just lying there lifelessly. Her gorgeous face and blonde hair is stained from dried blood. Her left leg looks really bad. She has a piece of glass in her side and I can see the blood oozing out. I can't control what is going through my mind right now.

"Well she looks pretty bad. She has blood everywhere. She has a piece of glass from the window stuck in her side and her leg isn't too good either. Just saying she looks like shit."

"Okay the ambulance and EMT's should be there soon. And don't move her. You could do serious damage to her organs if you move her at all."

"Alright I have to go to call people I will call back if anything happens."

"Okay. Bye"

I hang up the phone and immedialty send a group message to the boys and tell them what happened.

Right after I send that the ambulance shows up and goes straight to Tessa. They put a neck brace around her head and lay her down on the stretcher and buckle her down. They immediately take her to the back of the ambulance.

"Let me go with you!" I yell.

"Sr. You need stay here. You can't leave your car here. Also don't yell at us Sr. You need to calm down."

"Please I'm begging you . Can you have some one like tow my car?" I beg and ask.

"Fine but stay out of the way." The man says rudely.

I give them the permission to tow my car and I hop in the back of the ambulance wondering where to sit so I'm not in the way.
I sit in the bumpy ambulance ride and wonder what is going to happen.

Soo yeah that happened. Sorry I haven't updated in like 2 weeks but I promise that I'll update again this week for the missed chapters. Literally so proud of them..
