Losing and gaining

Chapter 7
Nialls pov
-AFTER THE RIDE-
"Hey guys!" I call into the home, letting Peyton go in ahead of me.
A chorus of "hey"s answer me from basement.
"A-are you sure th-this is alright?" Peyton says nervously, fiddling with her purse strap again.
"It's alright, Pey. Don't worry." I assure her, before grabbing her hand and leading her tote basement. I don't know why I held her hand, but it was an impulse and she didn't let go so I hoped she was alright with it. I also didn't understand where the nickname came from, but it fit her.
We descended down the carpeted stairs in Harry's house, and everyone's excited chatter suddenly stopped. Everyone froze and stared at me, then at Peyton, then back at me. Some of them even had their mouths open! I smiled lightly and glanced over nervously at Peyton. She did not look okay.
Peyton's pov
I knew it wasn't a good idea to come here! How can I just assume that everyone will like me! I started to cry and ran to the visible bathroom. I tried to close the door but Niall was too quick and went in with me, then closed the door behind him.
"Shh it's alright love, they're just surprised. " he cooed pulling me into a hug. I was hurt that no one liked me, although Niall's words did cheer me up a bit.I cried into his chest, hugging him for dear life.
We heard a knock at the door.
"G-guys?" A timid voice said softly , "c-can you come out? W-we'd like to talk to you."
Harry's pov
Dang it! As soon as she ran into the bathroom I snapped out of it. We all looked at each other, confused, wondering what had out happened.
"Was it just me or did I see Niall with a girl? AND holding her hand?" My girlfriend, Abby, said shocked. We nodded, dumbfounded.
Elenour broke the silence. "Guys we are all being rude. The poor girl probably thinks we hate her! Let's go apologize and explain ourselves. " I nodded, and she went to the door and timidly knocked and asked them to come out. I held my breath before hearing the door slowly unlock. We breathed a sigh of relief before seeing one of the most beautifulest girls in the world, and Nialls arm around her protectively.
