"And this is her room." Carrie, crap.

I sit up from the floor, fairy still in hand. Window. I walk quickly over to it and open it letting the warm summer air enter the room. I hear Carrie trying to unlock the door. I carefully try to slide out. One leg gets out, since we are on the first floor, I carfully toss the fairy into the soft grass.

"Ivy!"

I turn and see Carrie and Louis staring at me wide eyed. I saluted them and then slid out the window, and ran for my life.

Louis' POV {Yay!}

She went out the window and ran. Carrie still staring at the window. Guess I have to do something. I ran to the window and hopped out. I ran after Ivy. I'm right behind her, when she looks back and sees me. She starts running faster. I run after her, but then I get an idea. I slow my pace, and hide behind a wall. Just as I thought, Ivy looks behind her and when she doesn't see me she begins to walk. I follow, shortly behind her.

Soon, she comes to the puplic pool. It's closed. She climbed the fence and jumped over. I quickly followed her actions. I followed her to the indoor pool. It was dark except for the lights under the water, the air reeked of chlorine. I never expected what happened next. Ivy's POV I knew he was following me and I didn't care. I didn't want him to know about my small dance studio, so I took him to my other special place. The local pool. I stood at the edge of the pool, the lights shining from under the water shown the dark blue color. I smiled at the memories of me and my mother here. I wasn't going to do what I was, it just happened. I didn't have a purpose here, no one needed me. I sat the fairy down on the floor by my feet. I closed my eyes and fell forward into the water. I let myself sink to the bottom. I opened my eyes. The light danced in the water, so beautiful. I loved that it was going to be my last sight. I felt my chest tighten from the lack of oxygen. I felt tears come, but I don't know if they fell or not. I heard a splash beside me. Soon a pair of strong arms wrapped around my waist. They began pulling me up to the surface. I kicked and thrashed around. I opened my mouth and let out strangled screams. When we reached the surface, we both gulped in big breaths of air. I pulled away from Louis. "No! I was going to drowned!" I said. I tried to go back under, but Louis only pulled me up. "Stop." I kicked and screamed. "Ivy, stop." Arms wrapped themselves around me again, holding my arms to my sides. Not trying to force me, but to calm me. Louis put his face into the crook of my neck. "I- I'm sorry." I whisper, tears filling my eyes. "It'll be okay." Louis said, his breath fanning over my neck. "I made a wish, and I'm going to make it come true. I promise." I closed my eyes and let myself calm down. I felt safe in his arms. He pulls away and takes my hand. Soon we're out of the pool, I grab my fairy and we begin walking home. Back to the orphanage. I sigh. "What's wrong?" Louis asks me. "Nothing. It's nothing." I say. He gives me a 'I-Don't-Believe-You' look. "I just don't want to go back. With Carrie mad at me, I won't have anyone to talk to." "Hey, why don't we get back to the orphanage and you can change your clothes. You go to bed and I'll come back tomorrow and we'll do something fun. How's that?" He asks. I think It over for while. I never had a friend other than Carrie. I smile. "That would be great." I say with a smile.

Even though I was out of the water, I'll never forget that feeling. Flying.
