Niall's POV

I'm really worried about Harry... He hasn't been himself since Louis left. He doesn't seem sad, which is good, but his happiness seems artificial. I think I'll go see him today. I walk to his house and knock on his door three times. Harry's mum appears at the front door.

"Hello Niall, are you here to see Harry?" Her hair was tangled in knots and her breath smells like alcohol. Her face makeup is smeared all over her face, and there's lipstick on her teeth. I nodded and she turned around and walked to the couch. She sat down and opened a bible that was next to her and started reading it. I guess it means I can come in.

I walk inside and go upstairs. When see his room and bolt towards it. I plan to jump on his bed next to him, but he's not in here.

"Harry?"

"I'm in the bathroom!" I walk toward Harry's bathroom door and turn the handle. "Don't come in! I'll be just out." I stop turning the handle and step back. Even this is weird. We've seen each other naked before, he used to just let me walk in if he was in the shower or pissing or whatever. Same thing if it was my house and I was the one taking a shower. I hear the faucet run, but not the toilet flush, and He opens his bathroom door.

"Hey Niall..." He smiles at me and sits on his bed. "Hey H, how's she cuttin?" He laughs and leans back on his bed. "I'm fine."

"You don't look fine." He's still smiling but he furrows his brows in confusion. "What do you mean?"

"I mean you're not acting like yourself! Is there something going on?" His smile disappears suddenly and he jumps up from his bed. " 'Something going on'?! Yes there's something going the fuck on! My lover is in America, and I'm here!" He walks towards me and looks me in the eye. The green of his eyes are being taking over by his pupils.

"I-I'm sorry Harry, I'm just worried about you." I hate when people yell at me... It makes me want to cry. But I hold back my tears because he's going through worser things than I am. His eyes soften and he put his hand on my shoulder. "I'm sorry Niall, I didn't mean to yell. Thank you for worrying about me, I'm fine, Okay?"

I nod and Harry sits back on his bed like nothing happened. After that, we hang out for awhile until I have to go home.

As Im walking back home I see Liam and Emma walking down the street. "Liam!" He turns around and waves to me. He looks at Emma and she nods. Now they walk towards me and I stay in my spot, so they don't have to chase after me. "Hey Niall."

"Hi Liam, Emma." She nods and we all start walking together. "So, where are you guys headed?"

"We were just walking, not really headed anywhere, how about you?"

"I'm just walking home, I went to see Harry." Liam nods and continues walking with me. Since technically I brought up Harry already, I decide to continue talking about the subject.

"Has Harry seemed a little, I don't know... Different to you lately?"

"Well, I'm still trying to get used to the fact he's gay..." I shake my head.

"No Liam, not that. I mean in emotion, like does he seem like, too happy? Like he's faking it?"

"He probably just misses Louis. Don't worry about it too much." I nod as Im approaching my flat.

"You're right. I'll try not to worry so much. Thanks for walking with me Liam."

"No problem Niall. Bye!"

"Bye Liam, Bye Emma." She waves goodbye and Liam walks away. I'm still worried about him. Something's wrong, and It's not just Louis.
