The Way Back

Everything is dark. I begin to freak out thinking I've gone blind. I sit down until My vision slowly comes back.

When everything comes into view I realise I'm exactly where My mom told me I'd be. Behind the arena One Direction are playing in...

Walking around the building I come face to face with a crowd of people. I walk up to the nearest girl.


"Hey. What's going on? Why aren't you guys in their? "


"We don't have tickets... Do you have one?"


"A ticket? No... why do I need one?"


"It's like a pass to get in. To prove you paid... It's how people make money. "


"So I can't get in without one of these tickets? How do I get one?"


"No. Your stuck out here with us. Hoping they come out before it's to late."


"Great... I'm going home. Bye."


I head back to the rear end of the arena. I know going home is hopeless. I don't know how long the show is but it looks like I won't be meeting Harry. I sit on the bottom step leading to the back entrance and pull My knees up to My chest and hug them tightly as I lay My head on them and cry.


I don't really know how long I'm here. The next thing I know people are coming out.


"That was amazing right?"


"It really was. Hey Harry what do you think? Are the other shows going to be as good?"


"They always are... Hey lads check this out."


Someone touches My shoulder. I look up to see Harry Styles. I can no longer breath.


"Are you alright? "


"Yeah... No... I don't know."


"Hey guys. Meet me in the suv. I'll be there in a minute. "


He waits until the others are in the car before speaking again.


"You wanna tell me What's up?"


I take a deep breath trying not to cry again.


"All I've ever wanted in My life was to meet you... And I couldn't even get into the show. And I have nowhere to go... I'm pathetic. " I sit there on the stairs to the back door of the arena and bury My face in My hands. The least I can do is not let him see me cry.


"Well you've met me." He kneels down in front of me, and places his finger under My chin making it impossible for Me to not look into his amazing green eyes. " Are you homeless?"


I laugh a little. "You could say that. I mean I have a home but once you come here you can't go back."


"C'mon. Your coming with us love." He pulls me to My feet and I come face to face with his amazing eyes and That's all it takes... I'm completely captivated.


I touch his face and for the first time I actually touch his face... He's completely real... not a hologram.


He smiles the most amazing smile I've ever seen and says shyly "What's your name?"


"Apollo Queen. " I remove My hands from his face and hug him tightly. It takes a few seconds but he hugs me back.


"Apollo? That's a beautiful name... It goes with your beautiful face." He pulls away and tucks a strand of hair behind My ear. That's When a bolt of lighting flashes across the sky and thunder cracks soon after.


"We should go. It looks like it's going to rain...I'm sure the boys would like to meet you."


He takes My cold hand in his warm one and leads me to the car. This is the only thing I've wanted since I was 14 now I'm 19. I've imagined this one moment for 5 years and I've never expected him to be this attractive in person.


I don't know how long I'm going to be in this time but I promise to myself that I'm going to try as long as I can to make the most out of this... I just met him but I already love him... I feel as if I've known him My whole life.
