**STELLA'S POV**

After Harry's 'football' practice, we went to Louis and Eleanor's house for a small get together. We were gathered around the small wooden coffee table in the living room. Harry and I sat on the couch nearest the fireplace with the warmth radiating off of the flames hitting my arms. He had his arm slung around my shoulder and my head was nestled into his chest.

The boys were talking about an upcoming game and making fun of the opposing team's players.

"Hart can't block a shot to save his life," Niall said.

"Yeah, Niall. You should give him a few pointers after we beat their arses," Liam said. Sophia giggled along with the other boys.

"Zayn is probably a better goalkeeper than him. And Zayn sucks at goalkeeping," Louis stated.

"Hey, I'm not that bad!" Zayn said defensively.

"Honey, I love you, but even little Theo scored on you. You are most definitely that bad," Perrie said.

"Oh, come on! I let him score! He's two!"

"Okay, Zayn. Whatever you say..." Harry said.

"Well, remember that time Louis let Roberts take the ball from right under him at the most important game of our careers?" Zayn asked, causing more havoc.

"Oh my God! I didn't let him steal the ball! He did some trippy move that caught me off guard!"

"Well you still let him take the ball!" Niall exclaimed.

"I so did not. AND Harry was the one that decided to pass the ball to me instead of taking the open shot!"

"Oh, don't you dare!" Harry said as he took his arm off of me. I lifted my head off of his chest and he put his elbows on his legs and looked at Louis. "Liam passed to me when he could've taken the same shot!"

Liam jumped in. "I passed to you because you're a way better shooter! You have more accuracy than I do!"

"We were four feet from the goal!" Harry said, throwing his hands up in the air.

"Well I didn't want to risk it," Liam stated simply.

I saw Harry glance down at his watch.

"This has been fun, but we need to get going," he said, looking at me.

"Where do we need to go?" I asked curiously. I don't think we have any plans...

"We are going to have dinner with my parents," he said with a cheeky smile. I glared at him with maximum intensity. He didn't tell me that I was going to meet his family tonight!

"You didn't tell me!" I said.

"Ooh, Styles is gonna get busted!" Louis said.

I flashed a fake smile at him. "Yeah, he is," I said, adverting my eyes back to Harry.

"Well, can I get busted in the car, because we are supposed to be there in fifteen minutes," he said.

"Yeah, I'll wait until we're in the car," I said with a raised eyebrow.

"Alright, let's go then."

He grabbed my hand and we said our goodbyes and walked to the car. He opened my door with a smile and I kept my grumpy face on as I got in without a word.

"Stella," he said when he got in the car. I turned my head to look out the window and crossed my arms.

"Stella, please don't be mad at me," he pleaded. I continued looking out the window, ignoring him.

"C'mon, darling." He turned my face to look at him. "I really am sorry, I didn't know until this morning when Gemma texted me. I promise," he said with a serious look on his face.

“Harry, this is a big deal! I can’t believe you didn’t tell me earlier. I look like shit!” I gestured to my hobo clothes.

“You look absolutely beautiful. I’m sure my parents won’t reject you just because you’re wearing a 3 Minutes of Spring tee shirt and leggings. Although the 4 Years of Winter shirt is pushing it,” he said with a grin.

“It’s 5 Seconds of Summer!” I screamed as I shoved his arm playfully.

“I know, I know.” Harry started the car and began to drive.

“Harry!” A middle aged woman with dark hair greeted us at the door. She lunged forward and wrapped her arms around him.

“Hi, Mum.” Haha. He says ‘mom’ weird.

“And you must be Stella! I’m Anne. I’ve heard so much about you!” she said before enveloping me in a tight hug.

“Ha-ha…” God, why am I so awkward?

“Come on in.”

She ushered us into the living room where a man sat in a recliner.

“Robin, Harry and Stella have arrived.”

The man turned toward us and I immediately recognized him as the man in the restaurant Harry and I went to after ice skating on our first date.

“Hello, Harry. Stella.” He sent me an acknowledging nod. I nodded back in response.

I saw something move out of the corner of my eye, and when I turned my head, I was met with the face that was in Harry’s photos.

“Oh my gosh! You’re actually real!” she screeched.

“Uh, yeah…” I said awkwardly. Oh God.

“I’m sorry. It’s just… I never expected Harry to get a girlfriend. Especially not one as pretty as you!”

I looked over at Harry to see him rolling his eyes.

“Okay, Gemma. I think we get it,” he said.

“Oh, I don’t think you do. Harry was a really ugly baby,” she said, nudging my side.

“Gemma! Apologize to your brother right now!” Anne said.

Gemma rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. Harry had raised eyebrows and a smug smile spread across his face.

“Yeah, Gemma. Apologize. Right now,” he taunted.

“I will not!”

“Gemma…” her mother warned. This is comedic.

“Fine. Harry, I’m sorry you were such an ugly child.”

“Come on! Let’s eat,” Robin said as he lead us into the dining room.

Harry and I sat next to each other while Gemma sat across from us with their parents on the ends of the table. There were platters on the plate with different foods lining them. I placed my napkin in my lap and folded my hands on top of it.

“So, Stella, do you have any annoying little siblings?” Gemma asked while glaring at Harry.

“Uh, no younger siblings. But three older ones. And one twin.” I decided to leave out the dramatic suicide details. “I am the annoying little sister. But being the youngest definitely isn’t easy either. Constant teasing and getting pushed around.

“Don’t I know it,” Harry mumbled under his breath.

“So Stella, what are you studying?” Robin asked me.

“I am not attending college, actually. My parents want me to focus on ice skating.” I saw Robin’s face scowl slightly.

“Oh I see. So your parents wanted you to pursue a sport rather than a life- long career involving an education?” he asked with a raised eyebrow.

“Dad…” Harry began.

“No, it’s okay. Uh, yeah. My parents want me to continue skating because I could potentially go to the Winter Olympics,” I stated confidently. I am not going to let this man intimidate me.

“Potentially?” he questioned.

“Yeah. I still have to go to Trials, but I have the technical scores to make it.”

“So this whole thing is all based on chance? What will you do if you don’t make it past Trials?” he asked, leaning back in his chair as he crossed his arms.

“ENOUGH!” Harry’s sudden outburst startled everyone at the table. “I get it, Dad. You wanted me to go to Law School and get a degree and get a career as a lawyer and be bored out of my mind for the rest of my life. I get that you don’t support of my football career and that you don’t approve of my life choices, but that doesn’t mean you need to interrogate Stella about hers!”

He rose from his chair and stormed out the front door.

“I’m sorry if I offended you, Stella. That wasn’t my intention.”

“It’s fine. But I should go check on him.”

I stood up after I excused myself and went to find Harry. I walked out the front door and shivered when the cold air hit my skin, causing goosebumps to form.

“Go back inside.”

I looked to my left to see a very grumpy – looking Harry sitting with crossed arms and staring straight ahead. I walked over to the swinging bench he was sitting on and sat directly next to him, crossing my arms and looking straight ahead.

“I said, go back inside,” he repeated. I rolled my eyes.

“Yeah, I heard what you said,” I replied.

“So, remind me again why you aren’t going back inside?”

“Because you’re not my mother and you don’t get to tell me what to do,” I said sassily.

“Why do you have to make everything so difficult?” he said before picking me up and throwing me over his shoulder.

“Harold Edward Styles, you better put me down right now before I cut off your dick and put it in a blender.”

He surprising plopped me back down on the floor.

“Fine.”

He walked inside and slammed the door behind him, leaving me alone. I sighed and went in after him. I looked at Gemma hopefully.

“Second room on the right.”

“Thanks,” I replied.

I followed her directions up the stairs and to the second door on the right. I attempted to open it, but alas, it was locked. I pulled a bobby pin out of my hair and began to pick the lock. I heard a satisfying click and I swung the door open to reveal a very surprised Harry sulking on his bed.

“How did you – “

“Three older siblings don’t make it easy to get out of the bathroom when they lock you inside.” I closed the door behind me and walked to his bedside, plopping down next to him.

“He frustrates me sometimes,” he declared.

“I know. But he just wants the best for you. It’s his job as a father. Even if it means making you do something you don’t want to do.”

“I forgot that you have a lot of experience with this kind of pressure,” he chuckled.

“Yeah. I do.”

He grasped my hand and warmed it between his own. We sat in silence for a while longer before Harry shifted in his spot. He pressed his forehead against mine and stared deeply into my eyes.

“Stella, I love you.”

“Harry, I love you too.”

He smiled widely and for the first time, I saw his dimples. He pulled my face into his and our lips instantly connected. His soft lips on mine caused a shiver to flow through my veins. I ran my hand through his soft curls, pulling him closer to me. The warmth radiating off of his body heated mine.

When I’m in his arms, I feel protected and safe. Like he won’t let anything happen to me. Nobody has ever made me feel this way.

I pulled away with a smile and stood up, taking Harry’s hand. We walked out of his room and into the living room, joining Anne and Gemma.

“Where’s Dad?” Harry asked as we sat down on the couch.

“He had to go back to work. His company is getting busier by the day,” she told us. I looked back to the TV and screeched.

“Oh my God! I love Supernatural!” I fangirled.

“No way! Nobody else I know likes this show!” Gemma replied excitedly.

“How can people not love Supernatural? Dean is soooo….”

Harry cleared his throat loudly. I looked at him to see his arms crossed over his chest and a raised eyebrow.

“I mean, Dean is soo not hot. He’s not even cute,” I said with a cheeky smile.

“Mmmhhhmmm…” Harry doubted.

“Oh my gosh, Harry. Get over yourself. Dean is like 4,000,000 miles cuter than you,” Gemma said and I couldn’t contain my laugh.

“Well, as always, it’s been miserable talking to you, Gemma, but we really must be going now,” Harry said, standing from the couch and taking my hand.

We said our goodbyes and walked outside in the cold air. I turned to Harry and he crashed our lips together. I was startled at first, but I began to kiss him back. I ran my fingers through his luxurious curls and breathed in his perfect scent.

“I bet Dean isn’t as good of a kisser as I am,” he said with a smirk.

I can’t begin to describe the feeling he gives me. His eyes sparkled in the light of the moon and pierced right through me. His exotic taste and scent is like a drug. His perfect, patronizing smirk tormented me, but in the best way possible. His adorable dimples reeled me in and didn’t release me.

And in that moment, my biggest fear was confirmed.

Harry Styles captured my soul.

I'm only on chapter 1, but I love your story already. My favorite line has to be; 'Oh. No. He. Did. Not. Just. Say. That. I’m one of the types of girls that’s all about women’s independence and anti-sexism. I think it’s just the American in me.
“Um, excuse you, but I can move this box on my own womanly self, for your information,”'

Thanks so much! You're support is great!
