HARRY'S POV
"Ohhhmmmyyyyggoooodddd," El says through a mouthful of pancakes. "These are the best thing I've ever tasted!"
I chuckle and shake my head, but I have to agree, these pancakes are pretty damn good.
"Thanks, El," Jovy says, makeing herself a plate of a couple pancakes. "SHHHARREEE NIALL! Sharing is caring!" She yells as she fights Niall for the syrup, laughing.
He holds the syrup up above his head, knowing she's much to short to reach it and laughs.
"Ask nicely!" He yells back, smirking.
She sighs. "May I please have the syrup?"
Niall raised his eyebrows and beckons her to go on.
She smiles. ". . .Bestest Friend Ever?" she adds.
Niall smiles and hands her the syrup, which she takes with a squeal of happiness, making me smile.
"Thaaannnkkk youuuuu," She says, shooting Niall a teasing smile. He rolls his eyes and grabs his plate to come eat at the table with the rest of us. Jovy still stands at the counter as she begins eating.
"Jovy, come sit," I say, patting the seat next to me.
She shakes her head and through a mouthful of food says, "I'm ok."
"Please?" I say, puckering my bottom lip in a pout and trying puppy eyes.
She giggles and shakes her head again, flashing me an apologetic smile.
Louis leans over and whispers, "You get her, I'll get her pancakes."
I smirk knowingly and nod. Louis gets up and goes over to Jovy. He whispers something in her ear and she laughs and leans in to whisper something back. Meanwhile, I climb out of my chair and make my way to stand behind her. Louis and I make eye contact, then pounce. Louis grabs her plate and rushes it to the table. I wrap my arms around her waist and lift her up, recieving an indignant sound from her.
Than she starts giggling hysterically. "Haaarrryyyy. Stooooppp!" She squeals kicking her legs and trying to free herself as I Take her to the table and set her in a chair. Louis places her food in front of her on the table and says, "Welcome to the family, Jovy."
She smiles widely, obviously happy my friends had accepted her. I lean in and kiss her cheek, causing a round of "awww"s from the group and a blush to rise on Jovy's face.
When everyone finishes their pancakes, we decide to go take naps. Food makes us sleepy, and very good mood makes us very sleepy. Niall goes to his room with a bag of chips and the couples go to their own rooms, leaving me and Jovy in the kitchen.
Jovy starts to wash the dishes and I come up next to her to help. She smiles warmingly at me as she dries the last dish. When the dishes are done, we go into the living room and curl up together on a couch. Jovy's head rests on my shoulder and she has a hand on my stomach. . I take her hand in mine and begin to lightly rub the skin on the back of her hand.
"I'm really glad you're friends seem to like me," She says, looking up into my eyes and smiling.
I smile at the happiness I see behind her bright blue irises and say, "I knew they would. How could they not? There's nothing not to like."
She blushes and leans up to kiss my cheek. She then nuzzles her head into my neck and breathes heavily, signaling she is about to fall asleep.
I kiss her forehead gently and say, "Sleep well, princess," before laying my cheek on her head and dozing off to the steady sound of her breath.
