Everything changes

Oh no, why did I even ask to go to the London Eye, I’m so afraid of heights since I was just a little girl. But there’s no way back right? And with that thought I walk into the cabin of the London Eye. When I see Kylie sitting on the bench, in the middle of the cabin, I walk towards her and I sit down next to her. My stomach is acting like a roller-coaster. I grab Kylie’s hand just in case something happens, I know it’s useless but you never know. I feel like I’m getting a heart attack when the little cabin starts to move. Niall must have seen that I’m scared, because he grabs my hand and leads me to the other side of the cabin, far away from Kylie and Harry.

“Just follow me and stand next to me, nothing would happen to you I promise.” I feel like, my legs would let me down if I stand up, but I don’t want to let him down so we walk toward the window, if you can call it like that. Yes, I’m still standing. Niall is still holding my hand and I must say it doesn’t bother me at all, holding his hand makes me feel a little bit safer, but still I can’t think properly. When we almost reached our highest point I see the beautiful view outside and for a moment I forget we are so high, and just stare at that amazing view. “Still scared?” “Yes, but it’s worth it, look at that view”. ”I told you so, nothing is more beautiful than London with all its lights on.” I nod, still impressed of the beauty of the city. Now I know what everybody loves about London. I also thought it was an amazing city, but seeing this wow it just makes me speechless.

Niall lets go of my hand, I didn’t even realise we were still holding hands, and he places his hand on my hip. I lean towards him and rest my head on his shoulder. Why does this feel so good? I don’t even know him, but when I’m with him I feel different, like nothing can stop me. I think we could be really good friends, but you never know what would happen in the meantime. Probably after tonight we would only greet each other in the hallway of our flat and make a small talk about the weather, but for now standing like this feels good, really good. “The guys who build this, made it safe I must say.” I move my head and I look confused at him. He leans towards me and when his mouth is by my ear he speaks really soft to me, ”if something happens to our cabin, we can throw that man over there outside and the rest of us can land safely.” First I look at Niall’s face, he has no impression on his face, but when I look at the man standing next to us, a couple of feet away from us, I can’t help it to control my laughter. “That’s so mean, Niall”. He chuckles, and I must say he had one of the most cutest chuckle I ever heard.

When I see Harry and Kylie walking towards us I try to stop laughing and I try to look serious, but I failed completely. Harry and Niall look at each other with a smile I nor Kylie understand. It makes me think of me and Kylie, when we were back home, we have an group friends we always hang out with. But most of the time it was just me and Kylie, when there were others around us they didn’t understand us. We always had inside jokes. I think Niall and Harry has the same now.

When the cabin stops, all four of us walk outside and I never was so happy to be on the ground again. I could kiss the street were I’m standing on right now, but I control myself, what would Niall think of me, OMG he would think I’m a complete idiot. We walk toward the car, and before I noticed it Niall lay his arm on my shoulder. Even though I see Kylie looking at us, I do noting, I just enjoy this moment.
