Everything changes

How can she say that there is nothing between us? I never felt like this before and I know for sure she feels the same way. But I don’t care anymore, today I’m leaving. I’m going to visit my parents. It’s not that I leave because of Khloe, but this is a good moment to take a little distance between us. Since Khloe and Kylie moved in their apartment we spend every single moment together. I need space to think about this all, and some quality time with my family and old friends is exactly what I need right know.

I give my passport to the old lady behind the desk and I put my four suitcases in front of the desk and the lady looks at me like I have four heads or something. “Is this all for you?” “Yeah, I’m visiting my family after a couple of months.” She nods to me and calls someone who takes my bags to the plane.

After waiting for an hour and a half I enter the plane and take a seat to a girl from my age. She is wearing a big hoodie, she has her hood on and her long blond hair comes from under her hood. She has her head down, and is reading a book. I can’t see her face but I can’t take my eyes off of her.

Hmm... I should text Sean if he wants to pick me up on the airport. Nobody knows I’m coming; this was more of an impulse reaction. If this never happened between me and Khloe I probably never left. But now I’m sitting here next to a girl who doesn’t notice me and is really interested in her book, on our way to Ireland.

To: Sean

Yoo, on my way to Ireland. Can you pick me up at the airport?

From: Sean

Yooo man didn’t know you were coming. Love to pick you up mate. Text me the time.

To: Sean

Impulse reaction ghehe, around 8 o’clock. See you then.

The pilot is telling his usual story and I turn off my phone. I grab my earphones out of my bag and start to listen to the lovely notes of Michael Bublé – Home. I really love this song; it’s one of my favourites. And with this song in my head and Khloe on my thoughts I fall in a deep sleep.

When I wake up we already started the landing. And when I look next to me the girl is still reading her book like it’s the most intresting one she ever red. I turn off my music and focus on the landing. When I look out of the window I already see the airport of Dublin. And I’m feeling home already.

Before we can get out of the plane we have to wait for 10 minutes because the other plane is still not gone. And the stewardess walks one last round to ask if everything went right this flight. And for the first time this flight the girl next to me looks up and stares right into my eyes.
