When we close the door behind us our lives are about to change forever. When I look at my side I see my best friend with a huge smile from ear to ear on her face. Yes we finally did it, this is our first step to become an adult. After waiting for seven months we finally got the key of our new apartment in no less than London. With this new adventure ahead of us we stand outside the building of our broker, not knowing what is about to happen.

Here we are standing in front of our door, yes finally we can say our front door. After opening the door we walk into our apartment which looks so much bigger than the last time I saw it. Our parents are walking behind us, it’s the first time they see the apartment and I’m nervous for their reaction. When I look at Kylie I see I’m not the only one who is nervous. After our parents saw every single room they came back to the livingroom. Luckily they love it, and we both sigh in relieve. When the doorbell rings Kylie and I look at each other full of excitement, this can only mean one thing, our stuff arrived.

After a whole day, all our stuff is standing in the apartment. Our parents already left to their hotel, and we are alone know. After taking a hot shower I walk into the kitchen where I find my best friend making some tea. “We did it!”, is the first thing I say, she hands me a cup of tea and we are looking at all the boxes that are standing in the living room. Kylie walks to our little radio and soon I hear the lovely voices of her favourite boy band. I put my mug on the counter and we start to dance and sing as loud as we can, we don’t care if anyone can hear us because today we have something to celebrate.

When the doorbell rings, we both look confused, I walk to the door and when I open it my eyes get bigger and it don’t know what to say. Two boys are standing in front of me one tall one with curly brown hair and nice green eyes, the other boy a little bit shorter with the most beautiful blue eyes I’ve ever seen has big smile on his face and looks amused. “Who’s there?”, Kylie asks me. I still can’t speak and I hear footsteps behind me, from behind the door she looks at me with a confused impression. I open the door more so she can see who are standing there, I’ve never seen her eyes so big and her mouth falls open. The two boys in front of us look at each other and both start laughing at our surprised expressions.
