Once the man grabbed me, I sit up fast. Tears were slowly making their way down my face. I turn around to meet an empty spot. Of course. I stand up an walk out my bedroom door cautiously. When I found the coast was clear, I turn the corner. I big hand covers my mouth. A dishrag covers my mouth and nose.

I squirm to get free, screaming as loud as I could. There was no point. The dishrag was collecting my screams. I felt dizzy but I refused to give up the chloroform was beating me. I started to slow down and my eyes start to shut.

"I'm sorry." Was the last thing I heard before darkness fell upon me

I jump off my bed and land right on my butt. I groan in pain and look around. I'm fine. It was just a dream. I'm okay. I poke my head up a little to see Michael still slightly snoring. I narrow my eyes as I watch him. Why did that feel so real?

Michael moaned and felt around on my side of the bed. His hand only meeting the mattress each time. His eyes open slowly and he looked around for me.

"Kitten? Come baaaaaaaack." He whined when he found me. I shook my head and sit back on the floor, my butt still killing me. He rolled onto my side and pulled me back up with ease. He snuggled his head into my side with a smile.

"Nightmare?" He mumbled. I nodded and laughed so it wouldn't seem so bad. My door opened roughly and Luke was standing there. He walked up to me, picked my body up bridal style, and carried me out of the room. I was too confused to resist.

Luke carried me into his room and slammed the door behind me, sitting me on his bed. Right when my mind catches up to what was happening, I jump up and start for the door. Luke stopped me without a word.

"Let. Me. Out." I demanded. He shook his head and made me sit on the bed next to him. Without warning, he leans in and kissed me. I wasn't sure how to react. But oh those lips. I couldn't help myself. His kiss was like a drug. I kissed him back. Luke leaned in closer to deepen the kiss. I grab his shirt in my fists to bring him closer.

"Just like I imagined it..." He said once we released each other for a breath. My heart was racing fast. How stupid do I have to be to say that I loved it? Pretty stupid, I guess.

"I had a dream, Chelsea. You were there. We were together. Like none of this ever happened. Like we met each other in the park or something. It was so perfect. And when you kissed me... Oh, I had to feel your lips against mine in real life." He whispered and put his hands on my waist. I quickly come back to reality.

"What you did to me..." I say, pulling away from him, yanking his arms off of me. Anger came back like a truck. His face went red and he looked down.

"I'm so sor-"

"You know what Luke? I was starting to think 'Damn, someone actual cares about me'. But then I feel the knives being stabbed into my back. You ruined the only thing I had left of my family. Hope you feel really guilty." I say and stand up.

"Please, Ariel." I froze in my tracks and looked back at him. His eyes widen at the name.

"I-I... I mean Chelsea. I didn't mean to say that. Sorry." He looked down at his hands. I was about to say I know he comes into my room at night but I didn't want him to stop. I blush a little and look at my feet.

"Do you really hate me?" He asked after a while. I look up at him. His face resembled pain and guilt. Something that I saw a lot from him.

"I don't hate you. I was just mad and had to think about the first thing that could hurt you." He nodded and opened his arms for me. I hesitate for a second before hugging him. He wraps his arms around me and hugs me with all of him. I felt safe... for now.

We stood there for a while. He smelled like vanilla and flowers. His shirt was so soft I just wanted to bury my face in it forever. I memorized how he hugged me. His arms wrapped around my shoulders until his hands reached them. The way he stood and how he would just hold me tighter every time I tried to get loose.

"Luke... You're crushing me." I mumbled against his chest. He released me with a chuckle. I don't even know where to start with his complexion. He was just so beautiful. He smiled wide all of a sudden.

"Why are you smiling like that?" I asked. He grabbed both my hands in his large ones.

"I know how to make you happy! Let's have an us day. We could go to the mall, maybe a movie. I could buy you anything you wanted. Get your hair and nails done. Go to the park. Anything you want." He said with a smile so wide it stretched from ear to ear. I giggled at his silliness.

"C'mon, sweetheart. Let's go have some fun." I finally agree and he lifts me up, spinning me around.

"Go take a shower and change into your favorite outfit, okay?" I nodded and run to my room, bumping into Michael on the way.

"Woah ho, kitten. Slow down. Did you talk to Luke?"

"Yeah. It's all good now. Thank you for being there for me." I hug him tight, running to my room. I'm going outside! And for the first time, I didn't plan on running away. After my shower, I put on my khaki pants and my Captain America shirt with my black shoes. I blow dry my hair before rushing to the living room where 3/4 of the boys were.

"You look nice. Where're you and Luke going?" Calum asked.

"We're going to the mall! I'm so excited." I say, collapsing on his lap dramatically. He chuckled and ticked my sides. I am too attached to these boys and it's only been a week and a couple days.

"You ready, sweetheart?" Luke asked, walking in. I peck Calum on the cheek, then Michael, then Ashton before running to Luke's side.

"We'll be back in a few hours." Luke said and we walked outside. The grass was a bright green and the sky was cloudless. I stopped for a moment, breathing in the fresh air and looking at the beautiful scene.

"Wow." I whispered, looking at Luke with a smile. He was already looking at me like I was something valuable. He walks me to his car, opening the door for me. We talked all the way to the mall. Mostly about bands and what we wanted to do today. Once we pulled up int he parking lot, I hopped out.

"C'mere." he said, bending down for me. I hop on his back and laughed loudly as we walked in. The smell of new clothes filled my nostrils. I loved the smell.

"Where to first, angel?" Luke asked. I pointed to the pet shop and Luke gallops towards it, making others look at him funny. Who cares? We looked at puppies for a while.

"That's you." I pointed to a baby German Shepard.

"And that't you." You pointed to a Australian Shepard. Once we were finished, we went to Hot Topics, spending a good amount of time there. We travel all over the mall. Sometimes Luke would pull me into some lame store like Kay's or something just to look at watches. Blah. But I pay him back by pulling him into Victoria Secret.

"Look!" Luke pointed to a photo booth, pulling me inside. He put 5 dollars into the machine. First we pull a silly face. Surprised. Scary. Angry. The last one I take a chance and kiss him. We kept our lips connected even after the pictures ended. I start to laugh.

"Alright now." We look at the pictures and laugh. I pointed at my angry face with a chuckle. I grab his hand and pull him out of the booth. We walk into Tropical Smoothie with smiles plastered on our faces. Mine soon washed away when I reached the counter.

The one thing I try to avoid come creeping up on my. My face on a piece of paper showed up, taped to the counter. I pull on Luke's coat, to afraid to talk.

"Not now, angel."


"Luke!" He looked at what I was pointing at with wide eye. He grabbed my and and rushed out of the cafe. Oh no. Who knew I was missing. Must have been the neighbors. He pulls me outside and into the car.

"Our day already ended?" I asked with a pout. He looked at me with a smile.

"How about we finish at home?" I nodded, not even knowing I was referring his house as my home. It is now. I've accepted it now.
