Chapter 1
Song: Gone Away by The Offspring
- Louis' Point of View -
"Stalking your mate again?" I jump. I turn around and face Zayn. "I'm not stalking her. I'm just watching over her." He roll his eyes. I turn around and watch my mate cry over that stupid human boy I killed. "She's never going to forgive you if she finds out."
"That's why she's never going to find out. I can't let no mortal boy near her. She's mine and only mine." Zayn sighs.
"Lou I just want to help you. She's going to freak out. I mean she lives in a whole world where demons, vampires, and witches are myths. She doesn't know we exist. She doesn't know you exist." He's right.
I don't want her to meet me. I really want to but I can't. I don't want to hurt her. It takes a lot of me not to go up to her and kiss her. It also takes a lot of strength not to slice every single males throat she talks too. Like I said she's mine.
"Doesn't it hurt you seeing her cry? Don't you feel guilty for having sex with other girls? Like last night, when you were having sex with a vampire whore while your mate was crying because of her dead boyfriend who you killed. She was in pain because of you. You caused her pain from sleeping with whores AND killing the man she lo-"
"THAT'S ENOUGH." I yell in my demonic voice. It's true. When a male sleeps with someone who isn't his mate she feels this unbearable pain. That's only when you sleep with someone. When you kiss you just feel really different. You would feel empty. I know this because of her boyfriend. Ex now.
"Hello? Is someone there?" I hear Taylor say. "We'll talk about this later. Now let's go back before she catches us." I open a portal that will take us to the castle. I hear Taylor say 'hello' one more time before stepping inside the portal.
- Taylor's Point Of View -
I hear a loud scream. "Hello? Is someone there there?" I say aloud. I say hello one more time before turning back to my boyfriends grave. What kind of monster would kill someone without a reason. That person was probably a psycho. "I miss you Jason.." Tears fall once again. "Why?" I whisper. "Why. Why WHY?" I scream to no one.
I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to him... I remember getting a phone call that night.
- flashback -
"Tay! Tay! wake up!" I hear someone call my name. "What?" I say groggy. "Taylor , Jason is in the hospital." I hear my mother's voice says. I get out of bed as fast as I can. I quickly put on my flip flops. "Hurry up mum let's go." I run downstairs and grab my mothers car keys. I was about to open the door when my dad stops me. "Dad we need to go now!"
"Taylor... Jason is dead." Dead. He's dead. That can't be true! Jason can't be dead! "Dad he can't be dead. He just can't!"
"I'm sorry honey..."
"NOOO!!." I fall down and begin to cry.
"Oh, Tay ." Katelyn.
I get up quickly and hug Katelyn. "Kate, he's gone. I lost him and I didn't say goodbye or that I love him..." Tears begin to fall once again. I sob onto Kate's should.
"Shhh, it's alright." How can it be alright? My boyfriend is dead! I'm never going to see him again. I pull away from Katelyn and turn to my parents.
"How did he die?" I whisper. "He was murdered." Who would kill him. Why him? Why?
- End of flashback -
It has been two weeks since that night. I still wonder why he got killed. "Come on, it's getting late."
I get up and hug Kate. "Let's go and drink hot chocolate and watch season one of American Horror Story." I nod.
I turn around looking are the grave and smile. He's in a better place now..
- Louis' Point of View -
