chapter one
letter to daddy

Jasmines pov
(she is 4 years old in this part it will say when she is older)


'Dear daddy its been a week since you have been gone. i miss you a lot, mommy says that your watching down on me from up stairs, but i don't understand what that means because i sleep upstairs in my room but i don't see you, a lot has hapned since you've been gone, i got in a higher class my teacher says im advanced or what ever that means, oh and mommy made a new friend and he has three sons, but one of them died shortly before you did, they seem really nice. i miss you daddy. -jaz'

I close my diary and climb down my chair to put it away in my secret hiding place, "Jasmine come help mommy with dinner" I hear my mum call up from downstairs i smile running down stairs to my mummy. " hi mommy" i grin seeing her "hi baby can you do me a favor and go get ready for dinner?" she ask kindly "yes mommy" i smile and go back upstairs to get changed. I put on my little pink dress as well as my pink sparkly flats to go along with the dress. I walk over to the mirror to see how i looked, i smiled wide "i feel like a princess" i giggle to myself quietly 'your my princess' i remember my daddy always saying when he came home from work,

**flashback**
it was the day before my daddy's car crash, he just got off work and like always i would wait for him by the big window. it was about 2 in the afternoon when he had finally gotten off work, for me it felt like forever, when i see him get out his car i quickly got up and ran to him yelling 'DADDY!!!!!' and jump into his arms, "hey princess" was what he would always say to me after he hugged me
that was the last tin=me i was in his arms, the last time i was called his princess....it was the last for everything..
**end of flash back**

i sigh and look one last time in the mirror and walk downstairs "all done mommy" i smile as i hear a little boy yell my name "JASMINE!!!!!" i smile and face him "Luke!" i yell back and we run to each other hugging each other tightly. "what are you doing here?" i ask smiling "were having dinner with you" he giggles i nod and look around i had been to busy focusing on luke to notice his dad and brother were here as well. "We got you a snow globe" he smiles happy "Luke you weren't supposed to say anything yet" his dad laughed.

"oh sorry daddy......okay jasmine we didn't give you a snow globe" he says trying to cover it up

"nice try but i know your lying" i laugh "can i please see it?" i ask kindly , joe sighs and nods getting the very sparkly bag and handing it to me "thanks" i smile and unwrap it reviling a very beautiful snow globe, it had a ballerina in it with the words carved in the stand 'never give up' i was so happy i had always loved snow globes, my dad would get me a new one every time something big would happen, or he would just pass by a shop and see one and buy it for me, but mostly the first reason. "Luke wanna come put this with my collection with me?" i smile he nods and we both run upstairs to my room and put it on my shelf with all my snow globes on it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ after dinner~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"hey Luke ?" i ask
"yeah?" he smiles
"why dosnt your mom ever come with you to visit?"
"oh uhm she past away when i was born."
"oh im sorry....my daddy just passed away last week" i say my eyes glossy
"oh im sorry" he says and places his hand on my shoulder
"its okay....wanna play in my mums make up?"
"no" he laughs "but how about we go play in the mud he smiles wide
"you know me so well!" i giggle and with that we ran out to my backyard playing in the mud. which in the end made me have to throw away my dress but honestly i think it was worth it cause i had a blast
