Lalaine's POV

"Hey grans! Good morning!" I greeted them from the dinning table where they are now eating.


"Oh. Hey sweety. Hey Harry!" My grandparents squawked in concert. Harry and I approached them fastly; tight hold from our hands, and kissed them. Our kitchen smells good. Maybe our helper is baking some cakes.


I went to sit on our wooden chair next to Harry and grabbed a sausage on our serving plate.

"What's the noise all about last night Laine?" My pappy asked me as he was reading a newspaper in front of me. I quickly stared at Harry and put my left hand to his lap. I pressed it and winked before looking at my grandparents who were peculiarly looking at both of us.

"Some fun." I answered them happily.


My nanny choked from what I have said. I looked at all of them with my widened hazel eyes.


"What's the matter with that?" I asked them. My right eyebrow was a little bit higher. They gave me a laugh and my pappy held my hand.


"That's good to hear. Sooner or later, we'll be having a little Lalaine here. Yeah Martha?" My pappy awkwardly told me.



"What?! No." I unintentionally yelled. "Grands, what are you talking about? Harry and I were just on a rel-" I slipped with my mouth. Oh my God.

"On a?" My nanny asked me confusingly.


Harry who was just grinning on our conversation, pressed up my wrist.

"I'll explain." He said turning to wink beautifully on me.

"What? No. I will Harry." I defended.



"What will you lovebirds explain huh?" My pappy told us, folding the newspaper to hear clearly what I will explain.

"We're-" Harry and I chorused.



"Harry let me." I said clearly. "Nan, pap.. Um Harry and I are officially on a relationship." I said nervously.



Thankfully, my grandparents didn't bother to act rude. It's my first time to introduce a boyfriend to them. I smiled from what I am seeing. The joy from my grandparents were deeply evident. My pappy stood up and hugged Harry tightly. I turned to look at them. They were so sweet. Yay. I moved to embrace my nanny too who was grinning on me. She tightly laughed at me. I saw a tear of joy on her eyes where I gently wiped it out.

"Laine. I am too glad that you introduce a great man to us. We really love Harry for you sweety.. Hope we'll be having a curly Lalaine soon." My nanny said merrily, stroking my hair. It felt so comfortable on her hands.


"Wow. That's good to hear then. But nan, I'm only 18 and I am really too young for that." I replied irritatedly and turned to hug my pappy who was beside my nanny too.

"Lalaine. This is my only wish. To see you happy with someone deserving on your proper age." My pappy explained to me seriously.


I quickly embraced both of them tightly. I just feel like in heaven with my loved ones and Harry.. After I embraced them, I wrapped myself to Harry. He looks so happy too.

"Harry. Don't ever hurt Lalaine okay? We love her and we trust you." My pappy reminded him who was holding his shoulders. I just smiled from them. "Treat her like a princess for us, Harry. We've done enough for our little girl. Protect her forever and don't let her cry." My nanny spoke, grinning on us.


"Whatever. Come on let's eat now." I said and let out from the grip. I moved on my chair again and continue eating gladly.


From our breakfast, my grandparents told a lot more: About me and my childhood days.. And even some of my high school. They shared to us about my parents especially dad. Wow. It just feel great that my dad's first girlfriend that he introduced to my grands was my mum. I wish Harry was also my one. I love him and I know we'll make it last..
