Chapter 2: Shopping With Perrie
Jana’s POV
“I still can’t believe you and Zayn are…on a pause.’’ I mumble to Perrie as I walk with her. ‘’Yeah.. he’s back on the drugs and stuff, so I said once he picks himself back up and puts the pieces back together, then we can continue on with our lives together.’’ She says, nodding. ‘’I couldn’t..imagine.. Leaving Niall. Or any reason really.’’ I sigh gently as I look down at my stomach.
‘’You know, Jana, for a pregnant girl.. you look fucking good.’’ Perrie tells me with a smile as she looks over at me. ‘’Really? Niall says that to..’’ I laugh lightly. ‘’You do.’’ She says. ‘’So.. how are you liking Memphis? Is it really.. traffic crazy here?’’ I ask, curiously.
‘’Yeah.. but most people are just passing through, ya know. But I like it. My house is in a good, secure, neighborhood subdivision place or whatever.’’ She rolls her eyes at herself for being confused, I do that to.
‘’I like it.. too. I’m just getting.. tired of New York..’’ I mumble, mainly to myself as we go into an Aeropostale store here at the mall. ‘’Really? Niall always says you love it so much and you don’t wanna leave.’’ She tells me.
‘’Well, its my dad.. he’s got this new job.. and he’s moving around constantly.. he’s in California right now, but anyways, and my mom’s in my life now.. and its all just super crazy.’’ I sigh to her. ‘’And plus Tori.. and the baby.. and the engagement.’’ She reminds me with a wink as she looks at a cute shirt.
‘’Yeah.. that’s hard too.’’ I say as I look at it too, its really cute. ‘’Did Niall send you with money? Oh why did I ask.. he doesn’t even want you to use your own quarter to get a damn gumball out the machine.’’ She laughs to herself, covering her mouth so she won’t be so loud.
‘’You heard about that incident?’’ I ask, smiling and blushing extremely. ‘’Yeah, Liam told me.’’ She nods as we continue looking around. The two huge, strong looking, body guards_and yes Niall made me bring them with me, over protective, right?!_stand close to us, making sure we’re okay.
‘’Speaking of Liam, you and him are close now.. all of a sudden.’’ She says as she takes a pair of sandals off a shelf and throws them in the basket thing. ‘’Yeah.. we are. There’s something about him that reminds me of a old friend I had a long time ago.. he’s really important to me.. and he helps with advice I need.’’ I tell her as I also grab a cute pair of sandals.
‘’Well, I’m sure nothing’s going on.’’ She laughs, joking around. ‘’There’s not anything, trust me.’’ I say as we continue to look around. After we get done here, we’re gonna go get a bite to eat.
~A few hours later~
Niall’s POV
“Hey baby.’’ I smile as Jana answers the phone.
‘’Hey babe.’’ She says, I can tell she wants something, which I don’t mind one bit though.
‘’What you up to?’’ I ask, nosy.
‘’Just got back to Perrie’s place.. so um.. I wanna ask you something.’’ She mumbles.
‘’What is it babe?’’ I say.
‘’Can we.. move to.. Memphis?’’ She sighs out, nervously I can tell.
‘’Well.. I guess.. if you want to.’’ I shrug gently to myself as I softly pet Tori’s hair as she lies with her head on my lap, asleep, or at least on her way to sleep.
‘’Really?’’ She says, shocked.
‘’Yeah.. when do you wanna?’’
‘’Well.. soon.. the weather’s better down here year ‘round, so?’’
‘’I mean, gosh Jana, I’m sure we can sell this house and.. go ahead and get one there.. Hell, if you wanna find us one right now then go ahead, you got my credit card.’’ I suggest, just to make her happy, ya know since her hormones are fucked up right now.
‘’Really!’’ She squeals happily.
‘’Yeah, but we need to agree on one.. so if you see anything, tell me.’’ I smile to myself. I’d do anything for her.
‘’Okay, I will. Oh by the way, I love you.’’ She says sweetly, she’s such a suck up, but it turns me on a lot.
‘’I love you too.’’ I say, smirking, just wishing I could.. have her right now.. in all ways.
‘’So.. I’ll call you if I decide anything, M’kay?’’ She says.
‘’Okay, baby. I love you.. I have to go because I’m not too sure if Tori’s feeling okay or not, she actually offered to take a nap today.’’ I sigh as I look down at my sleeping Princess.
‘’Okay.. let me know if something’s wrong.’’ She says, demanding.
‘’Okay, bye baby..’’
‘’Bye Ni.’’ She hangs up before I could say a word in response.
As long as she’s happy, then I’m happy.. If she wants to move to Memphis, then hell! We will!
