Six Years Apart

Gabriella's pov
I wake up to my phone's vibration. I check to see who woke me up. A text from Louis.
L: Happy Birthday :)
G: Thanks Lou :) I miss you
I smile at the text. Louis is like my bestie now. I've rarely hung out with Amanda anymore. The only people I talk to now are Brionna, the boys, and Nathan. I don't know why but I forgave him. Actually I really missed him. My phone vibrates again. Speaking of my friends, a text from Brionna and Nathan.
N & B: happy birthday!
G: Thanks guys and you just had to do a group chat didn't you lol
N: yup we did because I'm a dinosaur RAWR
B: You're stupid lol
G: okay I gtg I'll talk to u guys later bye dino bye bri
I love my friends. I get dressed into a simple black dress and studded black shoes. I tease my hair a little and put hairspray on so it will stay. I go downstairs quietly so no one would notice I'm leaving. "Surprise!" I hear multiple voices say. I turn around and see my foster family. And someone else. "Who's that?" I ask. She looks older than me. "Hey Gabriella." She says smiling. "Remember your sister?" My foster dad says. Oh no she better get the hell out of here. She left me with my dad alone. She didn't take me with her. She just left me. "Get out of this house." I say. She looks sad. "You left me. So do it again but this time don't come back." I say walking out of the house. "Gabriella where are you going?" My foster brother asks. "Somewhere." I reply and run to the bus. I get on and pay then sit down. My sister runs to the bus but it's to late. The bus is already going. At the third stop I get off. I go into the instrument shop around the corner. My phone vibrates. I Check my phone and see Niall is calling me. "Hey Ni." I say. "Hi Buttercup." He says. He's been calling me that ever since we went to Disney. "What are you up to?" He asks. "Nothing I'm just at the instrument store." I answer. "You aren't doing anything for your birthday?" He asks. "I would rather be with you guys on my birthday, but I am not doing anything for my birthday no." I reply. "Well happy birthday buttercup. I love you.." Niall says. "Thanks Ni. Well I have to go. I want to look at the ukuleles." I say. I don't know what to say to the I love you. "Okay bye buttercup." He says. Harry hasn't texted me about my birthday at all. He's been talking to me a lot more since we kissed again. I liked that kiss. It was passionate and I can still feel the happiness I had when it happened. I'll call Harry later. I look around at the ukuleles and get lost in them.
