Harry's Diary

I look at Taylor and Lou as they argue, sassing each other with quotes and other things that seem to prove their femininity. I admire Taylor-for someone so nerdy, she can keep up awfully well with a punk like Lou. Then again, some nerds, like Zayn, have a strong character.

Zayn Fact #1: He’s generally quiet, but will sass you out when he’s mad.

Um… I think I should go ahead and put Taylor facts as well.

Taylor Fact #1: She’s sassy.

Taylor Fact #2: She reminds me of Rachel Berry with red, wavy hair and geeky glasses.

I look at Niall, who is also analyzing Taylor. He seems to have the hots for her, which is normal. She looks like the kind of girl he’d like anyway.

Niall Fact #1: He likes redheads with green eyes.

I am about to lean in and whisper something to Niall when Lou suddenly puts a finger on Taylor’s lips.

“Shh… I hear it again.”

Niall laughs. I give him a look that says “shut up” because I’m afraid Lou will put him in a headlock. I mean, I’d totally do that if I were as focused as she is. Surprisingly, Lou only stands up and walks to the door leading to the kitchen.

“HARRY!!!” she shouts.

Niall smiles. I know what he’s thinking: Lou would really make a good rock star-she’s got the looks, voice and damn, she plays both the drums and electric guitar. It’s amazing how her voice still sounds beautiful when she shouts.

…

There is no answer from behind the door, so Lou opens it. Niall stands up to follow her, but Lou turns around and stops him.

“I don’t want you to get hurt, Niall,” she says. “There may be demons lurking beyond this big, wooden door.”

Niall’s eyes widen as Lou tiptoes into the kitchen. I shake my head and smile. I find Niall’s fears funny. Taylor is, however, equally scared.

Niall Fact #2: He believes that demons exist.

Taylor Fact #3: She also believes that demons exist.

“Louis…” she whispers to me. “Are there really demons hiding in this house?”

“Haha, nope!” I say, laughing.

I don’t expect it, but my laughter eases the tension. Niall’s carefree laugh fills the room, then Taylor starts to laugh with us. Her laugh is surprisingly similar to Lou’s, in spite of the fact that they are two very different people.

Vibrante Fact #1: She has this really loud laugh.

Taylor then goes over to the piano and plays Save Rock and Roll. I smile and jam along to the beat. Pianos calm me, probably because they’re a part of my past.

Louis Fact #4: I’ve been playing piano for the longest time.

Ironically, even the piano can’t get the truth out of my head. Lou’s been in the kitchen for about 5 minutes. We got home 20 minutes ago. God only knows what could have happened to Harry in this span of time!

Lou's POV next chapter, get ready for some drama...

As far as I'm concerned, Harry still thinks Taylor is Taylor Swift, and of course, neither Louis, Niall nor Taylor knows that Lou's "demon" is actually the truth.
